I don't really mind Hinata. It's just her fans that annoy me, and they can easily be ignored. As long as the anime doesn't try to make her fight all about Naruto, I wouldn't mind seeing her fight one of the villains that Kishi off-paneled.

Of course, considering this is Pierrot we're talking about, an N/H-less Hinata scene might be a little too much to ask for.

The premise of Hinata in the story seems to revolve around Naruto.. its practically all she thinks about during her panel time

All right let say you right what about all does that say that Hinata is better heroine than Sakura, look at the new ED and how it make all the SasuNaru Fans start speaking about SasuNaru been the real couple.

It will be the same with Hinata fans, there will start saying the same nonsense about Hinata been better heroine than Sakura.

Don no like Hinata focus it changes the manga too much.

I think fans will be annoying no matter what. I tend to avoid pairing hotspots outside of this site, so I don't really care how some fans are reading (or misreading) the story. I guess, for me personally, if I had to choose between more fights, as well as another glorified Hinata episode, or to see a lot of the next arc's villains be off-panelled like we saw in the manga, I'd choose the former. Pairing stuff is important, but it's not really the focus of the next arc, at least IMO.

Of course, if I had the choice, I'd much rather see Sakura get a 1-on-1 fight. I think there's a great opening for that during the confrontation with the Kiri Swordsman. Zabuza and Fuguki were the only ones taken care of on-panel, so there's definitely some options. I think Gari, Pakura, and Chukichi were all present during that fight too, so there's more potential contenders for a Sakura fight.
I think I'd prefer to see a confrontation between her and Chiyo though. That could have been a great fight in the manga, but I get the feeling Kishi doesn't really care about anything outside the Tobi and Madara fights. But I guess we'll find out what happens.

I agree somewhat, and that's pretty unfortunate for her character. I do think though, they could potentially have an additional scene during the next arc that ties into that Hinata-centric episode in previous filler arc. Maybe something along the lines of showing her and Neji working together to break their clan's caste system. Or just Hinata finally becoming worthy in Hiashi's eyes.

Or more of the same with Hinata thinking about Naruto knowing Pierot (big Hinata fanboys) we will get more of that.

why is everyone talking about Hinata? and not the episode. she has nothing to do with this arc. Filler means nothing at the end of the day so move on.

Don't even ask the point of fillers is so the manga gets ahead of the anime they CAN'T catch up with the other or more fillers are inevitable remember what happened the last time it happened in Naruto after the Sasuke retrieval arc (the agonizing a year and a half of fillers). That is why its important that the manga ALWAYS be ahead of the anime.

Well judging how the anime has returned to the canon story it will take a while in addition if they're planning to add fillers during the war. If I have to guess I'd say like 280 or so.

Tell me about it I haven't forgotten how Pierot screwed up big time one of the best fights in the series, not to mention the "Hinata confession worship filler" episode (166).

It's a golden rule in any anime that they will never catch up with the manga because if they did then they would have to make fans wait for new episodes to be produced, and a lot of fans don't like waiting weeks even months for new episodes, so that's where fillers come in.
