It shouldn't. Canon never stopped me. NaruIno and NaruHanabi (did her for her sister man!) are my favorite despite a 0% chance of happening
Well I ship NaruErza, and that's got a -100% chance of happening, not only are they Different Manga's they are from competing magazines, so I understand where you are coming from. *Sigh* If only Kishi was even 10% skilled as Mashima when it came to independant strong women, who still had time for love. Boys never stopped Mira and Erza from becomig S-Class and only fourth third to Gildharts, Laxus and the Master in strength in their guild. Even Juvia who openly stalks her man doesn't need Grey to justify her existance.

i hope anyone who reads this comes to terms, that any kind of relationship based on EMOTIONAL and PHYSICAL ABUSE is not normal. I would not support this pairing only because for a fact it shows a POOR ass and horrifying portrayal of relationship. If anyone is in such a relationship, please get out of it even if you tell yourself "i love them, they need me,etc" This is not a healthy shipping standard, and i hope to god kishimoto's audience doesn't take such relationship values to heart.
