It's not that sakura has to accept his feelings it's more of naruto owes her his confession BEFORE he moves on to say hinata for example, I think in order for NH to become canon naruto should address his feelings for sakura first.

And he also needs to address his feelings to Hinata as well, whether they're romantic or not. A couple of things need to be addressed for a pair to become canon. I'm not denying any of that.

I'm not really getting the same good happy vibes at this forum like i used too. Not to mention this whole chapter 615 panic I think we here all overreacted. Over 100 pages on the chapter discussion just because two people were holding hands. When Sakura hugged Naruto nobody I swear NOBODY was screaming CANON.

Then Naruto transfers chakra to Hinata by holding her hands and tells her that he is glad she is by his side and all of a sudden its couple of the year? PFFT. I couldn't beleive the type of stuff i was seeing on the forums. All that was confirmed in my book that there is a possibility of NH now unlike in the past. Also at the moment Hinata is going to be the focused character. OK so what! Different characters always get their spotlight and it was about time Hinata got hers.

So yeah i agree that Naruto wouldn't be sad if Sakura didn't end up with him. Its about time i look at this manga a bit more as neutral than a shipper. What i think will truly make Naruto happy is when he becomes Hokage. THEN all the romance stuff counts. Btw don't misunderstand me anyone, I'm full on NS and i'm not giving up until the cow barks but for right now, for until everything is normal again. I'm out

Indeed on all thoughts. It seems like we get a clear picture in the end of the battle/arc. As of now, we could only speculate. It seems weird that Hinata's confession hasn't been mentioned in a long time. I think the end (not the manga, the arc) will give us the answer to all of this. To me, if NH ends here, NS does seem like a winner. Otherwise, well you know the rest. If it's really going by order of those who made a comment on Naruto, then Sakura does seem to come last. Not sure this mean anything, but the volume has only two chapters to fill in. Also, next chapter suggests that Naruto may talk to Obito about his answer. But we shall see.

Oh i definitely believe that naruto confessing WILL lead to NS canon, i was just saying that in order for NH to be canon (which I dont think it will) kishi would have to at least address naruto feelings for sakura first, this is why I dont see 615 as NH being canon.

Fairy Tail is really straight forward, not that I have problem with. I thought there will be one with Lisanna and Lucy, but that ended in a way back in the last arc, so yeah, obvious outcome is obvious.

Mashima even revealed in an interview in Barcelona that the name of natsu and rushi (Lucy) child was nashi. Goddamit kishi, why can't you be as straightforward.

You know, that's a valid point. If it happens in the end, it's never a bad one (unless there are villains to left to their demise). We came this far and only to hear a rejection seems like a waste on many ways. That's why it does seem to be on NS, especially if the next main focus will be on Team 7, which involves everyone within the team, one way or another. For now, let's get this arc over with asap.

I'd like to respond to this if that's alright. Naruto rejecting Hinata ... well, I don't think he's good at that kind of stuff. He's never actually rejected anyone's feelings in romance before (Unless you count Sakura's confession but that's a different scenerio) which is why I feel like he, as mean as it sounds, was avoiding responding to Hinata's confession completely. I guess if Hinata continues to pop up so much, interact with him or force herself in his line of sight (Hello 615) instead of being in the background where he could easily avoid the topic he'd be forced to. However, I guess because of what she did in 615, Naruto might stop avoiding her confession 'cause she legitly deserves a answer (More so than before). So I think he may reject her sometime soon. Or Hinata could realize Naruto loves Sakura, not her and therefore leave him be with her feelings. The latter seems more likely.

Of course, this is only if Naruto doesn't have feelings for Hinata. We can't be certain. It's important to mention that.

I always felt like there won't be answer done in conversation, rather done by actions Hinata may witness. I would wait until this arc ends because it all depends if Naruto and Sakura interact in this battle. There are anime/manga that simply ignores the side character's love story (though Shoujo usually involves them), so don't be surprise if that could happen here. That said I am wondering why her confession has been scratched off in media lately. Only us fans know about it and keep focusing on this. Even Sakura's confession got a lot of attention, so why not Hinata's.

@Chucky-Kun: Thank you for the link. I guess he's not holding back on anything. I guess you can say an auto-win for shippers.

Interesting question Luffyg1. Rejecting Hinata is an odd one because on one hand as a NS fan I see it as a necessity but on the other I just can't imagine Naruto doing something like that, he's quite often blunt but it still feels like an action that is out of place for him (at least to me some people may feel different).

I agree with xxRomanceGirlxx's later point that it seems far more likely for Hinata to either a) see that he loves Sakura and decide to stop pursuing him so he can be happy, which seems quite likely to me considering Hinata follows Naruto's nindo therefore should adopt some of his character and his selflessness would be good development for her.

Or b) she is the one who rejects him, not that he falls in love with her or anything (I suppose he could but I feel it would be detrimental to both their characters if he did and she rejected him) but she decides that she no longer needs his love, she has his respect and admiration, shes saved him multiple times and has proven herself both to him and to herself.

I think hinatas confession got scratched off, becausenut was nothing special. Everyone knew since the day hinata was inteoduced, that shes going to confess to naruto sometimes, so its wasnt a very shocking moment like as example sakuras confession. We also shouldnt forget that hinata is a side character with very less development, so i think it wasnt important to the story.

I agree with this, if Hinata is not meant to be with Naruto she might be an influence for NS, I don't see Naruto rejecting Hinata in any way form, it might be she noticing something or she thanking him for being a great friend, that is only if NH is not meant to happen.

Since I don't like to mark any pairing has dead.
