The Japanese RAW is so much better though. I still can't understand a single thing they're saying, but the emotions of the characters are kicking me in the pancreas.

Like when Naruto remembers how brave his real parents were - ready to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the village.

It was so bittersweet. On one hand, I was really happy seeing Naruto smiling and laughing with Minato and Kushina. On the other hand, it was so upsetting seeing Sakura all by herself. She looked so alone...

I'm sure if I liked that scene in the korean dub, I'm gonna LOVE it to bits in the japanese dub. The music, and dialogue. Everything in that scene was just ah may zing!

You're going to love the entire movie! It was amazing to watch with the Korean dub, but the Japanese dub made it 20% cooler.

Out of the characters, I'm going to say that Sakura was trolled the worst by Sasuke.

Even as far back as a couple of weeks ago I would easily say all other pairings got trolled considering the focuses of the promotional material and the differences between it and the film but since then I've seen the movie for myself and we've had all extra material and the like.
Now I think its more like a more extreme or more tightly designed version of the manga (but strangely with lesser repercussions or maybe everyone just doesn't treat it as seriously) where every major and even some minor pairings gets its own winks and nods towards it and little moments to call their own and to be honest I'm perfectly OK with that, it's funny especially with the AU characters. I could probably get behind AU Sasuke and Sakura if they were the canon universe.

Quick question about the redrawn scenes, is there a precedent for that where anime movies get scenes redrawn for DVD release? Or are the redrawn scenes in Road to Ninja the scenes that were mentioned Kishi wanted changed at the last minute. I mean I'd believe that they were considering they are all intimate character moments as opposed to action scenes.

@Slex that gif you posted earlier was that from The Ring because now I'm not going to be able to take that moment seriously ever again.

I assume that the animation team redrew the scenes that they felt were the most important to the story or stood out the most to the fans. I'm not sure if Kishimoto had any involvement with that or not... Maybe.

I'm finally back home. Oh wow, did I say that? Sorry, I mean no offense. I don't even know I wrote this. Too much sugar. For ask, it's a funny story. Anyway, well, this is rather embarrassing from me. I apologize for this. As much I do make fun of them, I don't usually make a hate topic or thrash topic. Yeah I remember hearing that rumor. I wouldn't be shocked if it was true considering Chikara shares a lot of the same tropes as past Naruto movies, even it RtN was rushed I still enjoy it more than any other Naruto movie it just feels more authentic than the others have but I guess having the original author in a position of power on it would do that.

If the Chikara rumor is true it makes me wonder what 2014's movie will be like since I believe that also has Kishi's involvement since RtN was so successful and it has the benefit of 1 and a 1/2 to 2 years to work on the story and animation

anyway it's interesting to note that most of the remade scenes involve either Narusaku moments or family moments. Even if it was a tiny detail like Sakura slowly walking towards Naruto or Naruto's facial expressions when Kushina hugged him. I am very grateful for these changes too. The korean version was pretty bad sometimes ;;
