Kishi must be under a considerable amount of pressure if he's openly addressing the grievances of discontent fans. Contrary to what some might argue, that does not imply a majority consensus of satisfaction towards the film or ending when you're being compelled to call these dissenters out.

Btw people who watch Naruto for story, NS fans and SNS fans along with a few NH and SS fans left the fandom, there wasn't much said about Burrito but from what I gather..people don't like it

It ended up being a typical Shounen. Nothing wrong with it, it's just it had something before.

So I saw a comment on YouTube from a NS fan claiming that Kishi will retcon the ending of Naruto with Part 3 on some Days of Futures Past scenery and NS will become canon that way.

Honestly I really doubt it's going to happen.

Part of me would be super stoked to see my OTP come to pass. A much larger part wouldn't give a crap. It wouldn't undue all the unpleasantness that came about from 693-700 + the Last.

I can believe that. I mean why would they? If Kishimoto knew about the vast amount of people who disagree with this ending then he'd be completely disencouraged to continue Part III and further destroy his own story.

That is BS! Are they allowed to do that? Did Kishi even give them the privilege to do whatever they want with his fan mails? Most countries it's considered federal offense (if I'm right).

Yeah, happens all the time, especially with celebrity figures, political officials, etc. It's not illegal or anything, most of the time it's a method used to make sure no dangerous things reach the person in question. It's a form of censorship, it's just that in this case, SP and pals try to shield Kishi from any dissenting/rational opinions. It's the equivalent of blocking someone on FB or tumblr lol
