Gaara doesn't ever depend on his Bijuu and Bee can kick major ass without Gyuuki boosting him up. We all know what Bee did to Sasuke with just his swords right ??

Naruto is the most under developed character in terms of technique in the manga.

 

On another note, Did you guys see the Lee vs Shira fight from the Chuunin exams arc ??

And that's what I keep trying to say; there is nothing wrong with Naruto learning to use Kurama's chakra and using it when he really needed it, but the way it was done came at the cost of Naruto himself having very little despite the claims that he would get stronger with his own power, and Kurama's chakra looking way more like a deus ex machina crutch a majority of the time (Naruto would've been crippled or killed in most of his battles without it otherwise). I really wanted to see Naruto be able to do badass things on his own without having to automatically resort to some other power like Sage Mode or Kurama's chakra to defeat opponents.

And you'd think that after getting royally owned most of the time early on, that Naruto would see how far behind he is and truly start expanding his skills and get people to teach him more things...but after only half-completing the Rasenshuriken (which Sasuke had already learned his Katon and Raiton elements years before), it's off to Sage Mode, and then right back to Kurama chakra reliance.

Just Imagine if he had actually trained hard........ Learning Taijutsu from Gai and Lee, Futon from Asuma, Some Katon Jutsus to Complement his Futon from Jiraiya.

Just curious about Naruto still having his arm bandaged... it's been over a decade since he lost his arm, right? When is the guy who pulled Gai back from the brink of death and regenerated Kakashi's eye going to fix his own arm? Or, at some point in the gaiden is he going to rip the bandages off and reveal an arm full of sharingan like Danzo?

You know, I hate to say this, but there are some days where I wonder why I even liked this series in the first place. Ever get that way?

I guess, what I saw was major potential with a shonen story that could have broken a mold of the typical "Goody goody vs Baddy baddy" where instead the good guys were a little bad and the bad guys were at least a little good or they were right and their intentions for for a better cause than you realize.

Naruto...I wanted to see him achieve power yes, but I wanted him to earn it. Not some cheap hand me downs or anything. Same with Sakura. If you had to give Naruto power, at least let him train to unlock it and not just "because it is your destiny." Instead that is exactly what we got. I still wish Sakura had Slug Sage mode and she would have been far better to have her grow up from her crush love.

You know this kitten manga is totally kittened up when  even its own supposed  "MC" doesn't get to shine and visit or learn more about his heritage but instead we have more and more Sasuke Wanking & Uchiha Fappetry , Sasuke visiting the Uzumaki shrine and learn more about the Uzumakis then Naruto ever did and yet he's an Uzumaki himself    Oh wait did I also mentioned that the author himself said that Naruto's only purpose his very existence and essence of his character  was just to bring Sasuke (The real MC ) !? I mean for kittens sakes how stupid and ridiculous is that !?  Who dafuq are you kidding that Naruto is your fav character !? Just change the tittle of this god damn kitten into Sasuke & The Uchiha's Wanking fest enough is enough  .

i understand the feeling. but i look back at some of the things that went somewhere like naruto and the fourth hokage and the nine tails. thats what really got me into it. naruto didn't have parents and i wondered if he hated the fourth for putting kurama in him. but no! he went on saying that the fourth was "the most amazing", he respected him still even after he learned that he was the one that made his life hell. because to him, he learned that being a hokage wasn't about being respected just for the title alone, I'll spare you the details of course. ;)

 

but yeah, the link between naruto, minato and kurama was the first thing and im happy it got resolved.
