Who was the member who said he has a friend who might watch the screening, and maybe post some stuff? 

I was the one who said that . The girl who was going to see the screening is the same girl who gave us the information about the NS poster. I think she could't find the theater in time...she told me she didn't see it !

Yeah I saw that on that her tumblr page. Just didn't know it was that person! ;)

 

Did you talk more with her after that? Since I saw another person claiming that the poster she personally saw with her own eyes was fake on her page!

TO be honest, I don't even feel anything for this manga anymore. I may care for the characters but overall I'm pretty much done. I went through this same thing when H/Hr didn't happen in harry potter so it's way easier to get over.

 

Well, TBH, I would lie to myself ( see what I did there lol) if I say that I no longer feel anything but I'm in the process of moving on and no longer care about the kitten end.

 

I still care for the characters, mostly Naruto and Sakura but I will only remember the parts that are true in the manga and think about chapters 699/700 and the movie as trash fanfics LOL

 

Anyway, I got Avatar and Korra now, it's my new Naruto and I don't care kitten about pairings lol, I care about the story and the characters and so far I'm totally addict to, it's my medicine

Movie starts out with flashbacks.  Naruto gives a recap of the manga series, briefly remembers his parents and how they sacrificed themselves for him, etc.

 

Jumps to a winter festival.  Sakura is there in a kimono and Naruto explains (as narrator) how he's loved her for a long time, but she loved his best friend, so he never had the courage to confess.  He briefly touches on others there at the festival - Hinata and Hanabi, the rest of the rookie crew, etc.

 

They are attacked at the festival.  Hinabi is kidnapped by Toneri.  Naruto tries to stop him, but Toneri steals his sage powers.

 

Team 7 + Hinata go to rescue her.

 

They end up on an island with an abandoned city.  Naruto and Hinata are separated from the rest of the group.  Things get kind of dream like; Naruto starts remembering things that didn't happen in the manga, scenes with Hinata.  They get closer and things get mushy.  

 

IN REALITY - it was Hinata who was kidnapped.  Team 7 is doing their best to rescue her while the moon threatens to crash down on their heads.  They find Toneri and Hinata about to have some kind of wedding ceremony; Hinata is fully convinced she is marrying Naruto and envisions the wonderful family they are going to have in the future.

 

Team 7 et al break the spell, rescue the princess, etc.  

 

Naruto has a very painful and uncomfortable moment in which he gives a formal rejection to Hinata.  He wasn't able to answer her feelings all along.  Broken hearted but resolute, Hinata vows to be a good clan leader instead of continuing to pine after Naruto.

 

Having to reject Hinata gives Naruto the courage to finally make a formal confession to Sakura under a cherry tree, who proceeds to whack him over the head and ask him what took so long.

 

This is the real plot of the movie and no one can tell me otherwise. Still way too sappy for a Naruto movie but hey at least it's not sappier than an average shoujo anime.

hahah I'd rather believe her than the other person who certainly is just repeating what Takl said.... Yeah I talked to her after that, she didn't tell me exactly how was the poster, but she told me that Japanese people don't like to lie (I think that's why he showed her the poster),and that she's gonna watch the movie herself the 6th... I can tell you she's truth worthy!

na, trust me, she wouldn't lie. I talked to her, too, and I believe her 100% about what the store owner told her.

This clicked to me when I was discussing to someone over my Facebook page about the ending and I ended up telling them about how their reality (NH/SS) might be a genjutsu.

And then, BAM, it hit me. xD

Yes and I think it gave a fair shake to the opposing pairing in the end.

Even thought Zutara didn't become the end pairing, they spent a great deal of the end fighting side by side, and even had a touching scene together at the end, with her healing him then putting her arm on her shoulder. I never shipped that, but I remember thinking that fans of Zuko/Katara should be pleased.

 

And yeah, I keep thinking back to it now because Naruto could have been handled so differently. In a way that respected all characters and the storyline, and validated the fans who have supported it for so long. It didn't have to end this way.

Yeah, so much to kill NS development for a pairing that doesn't even appear together in the movie or in the epilogue. SS was so important, yeah right.

I love all most of the characters, Aang, Karara, Sokka, Toph ( god bless this girl!!!!      ), Zuko ( emo but soooooooo much better then emosuke), Azula ( I love this girl, she's a kitten but she has her moments that I find really great and idk, I feel her pain so much at the end), Iroh ( the Chuck Norris of Avartar in my book, he's so awesome and his relationship with Zuko is so awwwww!!!!!) etc.

 

I even bought all the books, I can't wait to read the new one that is supposed to be out by now 

 

Overall, Avatar is my new kitten....oh and Korra also is so great, funny as hell with Tenzin and his family, Bolin, Asami ( love this girl!!!) oh and seeing Toph again...daaaaaaa that feel!!!!!!!!
