Why is SasuSaku deemed more preferable to them? There's no appeal to it. The man within the relationship is a murderous vagabond who never batted an eye towards the woman and had proven time and again that neither her or her misplaced affections mean anything to him. The woman is in a ceaseless state of emotional desperation to see something that was never there. Her reasons apart from acknowledgement as a person stemmed from superficial ideas and lust. Nothing can justify Sakura or Sasuke having any relationship with each other beyond the regrowth of a friendship that hardly existed back in Part 1.
We don't know how those two came together. The final moment before the epilogue depicted Sakura in a timid and heedless light when she asked to abandon all of her duties and loyalty to the village to join Sasuke on his little quest for redemption.
It is not so much that Sasusaku is popular, it is more Sasuke is extremely popular and they just give him whatever he wants in there minds.

Which is sad in many ways because it's not just them but everyone else. There's a reason why NS kept getting highlighted because it was the one that was going for. The problem I'm having is did Kishi know this yet swerve or didn't know at all. Former, well that's a shame. Latter, well, I guess you got to start understand the mind and heart of what it takes to love. Honestly, going back to the old chapters, there was always something that kept telling me I'm not wrong before, so I don't know.The Rock Lee SD handles Naruto's feelings better than this kitten...

Nah Naruto never lusted after Sakura or else he wouldn't have loved her so selflessly. He loved her from the purest form but that love couldn't be because Sakura loved Sasuke. So in the end he had to accept it and move on . Sadly Kishimoto could have made Sakura love Naruto, I mean the hints were all there , but in the end he just didn't want them together I guess. But yeah anyways Naruto did not lust over Sakura, that would be something very oc for Naruto, who has always been shown to be honest with his emotions.They even tried to say Naruto never really loved Sakura. He only lusted after her.

Been lurking for a few days, but this just proves that a lot of pairing fans are so focused on the pairing (or rather, the implied, off-screen pairing) that they don't realize people are complaining that the writing is kitten.
It's the job of the story to convince me the relationship is plausible, and that Sasuke isn't an irredeemable douchebag. It failed on all accounts.

True love. They said she loved him since they were kids. They also said that naruhina paralleled minato and kushina, and that kish ment for naruto to say sakura wasnt his girlfriend when minato asked him during the war arc.

It is not so much that Sasusaku is popular, it is more Sasuke is extremely popular and they just give him whatever he wants in there minds.
I could somewhat understand their favouring him if his conflicting moral stature and anti-hero status appealed to them as readers interested in complexity, but he deserves no pardoning or rewards for the crimes he's committed. It's insulting to believe that his laundry list of crimes could be ignored so easily.

I know... kittening sad. I wonder how NH feels right now. With 698 chapters + databooks, movies, interviews... Hinata clearly is a silver medal. Not even a 110 minute movie that isn't even focusing on romance alone will rid 698 chapters of the Narusaku relationship.
I'm so not seeing this movie. It's going to be such an asspull, I can already tell.
They feel just fine trust me... the only NH fans hurt are the 5% that are capable of real thought

Yes but they adore sasuke so much they will accept that change. I have been to japan alot due to having family there and ofc in turn have attended many conventions.There is some seriously fanatical sasuke fans out there ><
