I think he means Aogiri in the meaning that it was the arc that changed it all

 

For :re an arc like Aogiri would be something like Kaneki remembering and running away from CCG or something like that

I need the chapter to say it clearly but what was Amon motive in saving Saiko? ... I don't know Ishida has to play his cards right otherwise this will look like a Deus Ex Machina

I don't know. I do wonder why too. It is funny because when we first see the hooded man, it was on that building like structure. So...maybe they're in his house? Lol. But seriously, why.

Amon rescues Saiko, and Shu and Touka interaction. Looks like Tokyo Ghoul really picks up around the 40 chapters!!!

 

OMG you are right I didn't pick it up tell I was rereading the series and yeah his series really does pick up after 40 chapters

 

I think we might get a reimagining  of the scene from Chapter 70 only instead of Sasaki saving Touka it could be Touka saving Sasaki.

I think its a little early to tell, but we can wait and see.   

 

The closest thing to Aogiri is probably gonna be The Auction Raid Arc for the time being.

That is still my favorite arc of the the series thus far and I remember that is when I got very passionate about the series and TouKen.

You mean the Sasaki vs Seidou fight? That was a huge character development in my eyes eyes and that was an awesome moment, but in terms of story progression, there were still a lot of things in the dark. But in this chapter, we have Amon showing up and Shu visiting Touka. Several key players from the previous series are returning, so things are really moving forward. Shu is finally not depressed anymore, and Touka might actually make a move now and become relevant (I know that you don't really care that much about her).

I seriously am waiting for the arc though in which Hinami will get rescued >_<

That was a huge character development in my eyes eyes and that was an awesome moment, but in terms of story progression, there were still a lot of things in the dark. But in this chapter, we have Amon showing up and Shu visiting Touka. Several key players from the previous series are returning, so things are really moving forward. Shu is finally not depressed anymore, and Touka might actually make a move now and become relevant (I know that you don't really care that much about her).

I think that Hinami getting rescued could either take place sometime during this arc, or it's going to be the objective of the next arc.

 

 

It's so weird when it comes to Touka cause I love her so much I mean my sig is a good example lol but Yeah you do bring up a valid point cause Touka hasn't been relevent since Aogiri sure she did show up afterwards here and there, but her presence wasn't really so significant, and this could be the case in getting our favorite female back into the picture.

Well, that was an interesting chapter. Highlight was definitely Kaneki laying the wood down on a kitten ton of ghouls.
