People don't freak out because Hinata is in the cover. Its a Naruto movie so its to be expected for the rookies to appear. Kishi is obviously teasing putting Hinata there, but I bet a 100$ that she will be shown in the movie for 5 seconds and that's it. She won't be important to the plot of the movie just like in the manga. Remember RTN how Kishi teased the fans with the covers. Sasuke flirting with Sakura and she was blushing while looking nervous, and Hinata looking like she's about to give Naruto a hickey and his expression said" eewww get the kitten away from me".

I don't know what's more surprising, the fact that people turned a scarf into something for NH, or the fact that I'm sitting in Florida States library (that in and of itself is a stunning development) actually doing school work.

Meanwhile I don't think Sasuke has a single bad panel. And people deny Kishi is a Sasuke's fanboy.

Really? I think he has been looking pretty sloppy in a lot of panels lately. But I guess that's just because Kishi's art overall has suffered. But, naturally, he looks really well done when he gets bigger panels.

Errr I don't think Studio Pierrot wanted to tease fans with this scarf. Fans are the only ones to think of everything that you said.

 

Actually I'd disagree, Studio Pierrot have the most hanging on this, as they are the studio making the movie, they want to get people talking about the movie, Hype created for the movie is good business for them, the NaruHina fanbase could largely be attributed to their filler episodes where they really tried to build the potential relationship up between her and Naruto. It also worked for RtN, the way it was promoted made you think her role would be bigger, in the end she had like one scene.

 

As I said before the placing of the scarf is too perfect, quite literally splits between the two ladies. they know the how big the two fanbases are, they probably have people hired who just spend time surfing the forums etc to see what is popular and what isn't and they will exploit that for marketing purposes. I don't think the whole Hinata making the scarf and other stuff fans are saying something they planned, but the positioning on the scarf end and Hinata and Sakura being either side had to be deliberate, unless it's confirmed that Naruto and Hinata are indeed together because she has no other reason to be there. We know she'll turn up for a couple of scenes and never turn up again.

 

They want to tease the fans, so they'll go to watch the movie. Plus Nana Mizuki sells, she's one of the biggest VA's in the industry so you have to promote her being in the movies for her fanbase. (I think this last comment contradicted my earlier comment...oh well.)
