He said in that interview that he will give sakura more heroine role.

There are two thing that keep me in the manga,
Naruto vs sasuke and NS.

Kishi could have given Sakura more stuff to do sure, but it's not like she was 100% useless in the war. If not for her then Naruto would be dead, or Sasuke would still be stuck in one of Kaguya's dimensions, so she defnitely did get some good moments.

 

The problem is that the ending completely assassinated her character and made everything she did all for nothing. The major downfall of her character starts at chapter 693 all the way until the ending for me. Everything before that was mostly ok at least from what I can remember.

That's the problem, one on 3 main characters was ok, Sasuke shined every time, Naruto had 2 or 3 moments in part 2, Sakura had 1 moment in part 2, and then only war arc.

Exactly she literally did a 360 on herself. She started in one place then developed from what she was and then in the end when right back where she started. Catastrophically bad writing. The ending made all of her moments and achievements pointless.

That's the problem, one on 3 main characters was ok, Sasuke shined every time, Naruto had 2 or 3 moments in part 2, Sakura had 1 moment in part 2, and then only war arc. 

I know but really I always considered Naruto and Sasuke more prominent than Sakura and Kakashi. Still I think what he should have done is given Sakura her own arc where she could have had a proper backstory like Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi.

 

But instead they decided to push Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura all on the backburner to make way for Hinata hime-sama and make her wildest dreams come true.

Yeah, and it seems that it's going nowhere.

I wouldn't mind seeing them do something, but something has to start for them to do anything, which nothing has for the past couple chapters.

The same thing happen to Naruto too because after chapter 699 he totally forgets about Sasuke. He doesn't even mention him once ever again. Not in the movie nor in chapter 700, and we're supposed to believe they're "best friends" still?

 

All that hardwork and determination to bring Sasuke back for Sakura was pretty much pointless if Naruto was going just pretend he doesn't exist anymore.

Idiots is all I can say. This is what happens when you trying to convince people that Naruto and Hinata is real canon pairing that was "meant to be". In order to do that they had to destroy everything in its path.

This part is really sad. Because in movie, Sasuke picutred as vagabond, and Sakura only remembers him as someone who is not here, not someone who did a load of kitten on all bonds before that... oh wait, it's because he poke her in the forehead! And now Naruto is kitten, and all the times he saved her and gave her all he can - was because of rivaly...

She's not 100% useless, but what she do in war arc is not that big either.
One of the reason why that happen is sakura conflict is romance and her uselessness. The only conflict that get touch is romance.

And the fact that truly underdeveloped her can't help her character.
If kishi doesn't want her to get action, kishi should just make her like rin, a pure medic and not a combat medic, who has genjutsu potential only to get waste.
