Ninja only need a rain coat. And cold will not a problem.

Kushina had a winter jacket (and a scarf if I remember correctly) on a Kakashi Anbu episode. So it's not impossible...

replacing her with gaara would make much more sense.

Not really, From an advertising pov, it would make zero sense to do that. Whether we like it or not, Hinata is a very popular character. Gaara pales in comparison. The more popular characters are used to advertise because they attract more people. The same happened in RtN. Sasuke and Hinata were heavily advertised but they had very little roles in the movie.

 

Basic marketing tactics really. There is no need for us to worry about this.

 

I'm surprised that we are not making much of the placement of Naruto and Sakura side by side. It clearly implies those two have major roles in the movie and the plot revolves around them.

I must admit, the idea of red scarf is a bit of a good point from you guys. I mean when all considered, all characters stay to their colors or rather the tone of it. That said well the scarf could be movie exclusive though not sure who gives it to him. If that would be true, the "scarf" would have had some shadowing. Unlike the hair, it should have been clear to see if there are any. After all, Sakura's skirt looks red too in the sketch as far as I've heard and was shadowed in the sketch...

Also, Hinata is not just here to fit the bill because they need 6 characters. She's here because they want her to be here. they want to tease fans with her.

 

That's what I meant with she fit the bill, her being there gets fans talking, Gaara would not have the same reaction, or anyone else for that matter...Hinata gets fans talking about her role in the movie, and her link with Naruto, so she fits the bill. The scarf might have no relevance whatsoever but we need something to talk about darn it, this weeks chapter had all action and hardly any talking, so this it. This is interesting because A, Hinata is in it, B. the Scarf is Red, that happens to be Sakura's colour, Uzumaki Colour AND could also represent the Red String of fate, and the placing of the scarfs tail is very interesting, it just happens to be going between Hinata's and Sakura's pictures.

 

This is perfect fan baiting, the colour of the scarf, and the placing of tail end, this was done to get people to talk about it, get fans arguing over the relavence, and I don't see why we shouldn't talk about it, I came here on Monday and say over a dozen of pages arguing that the fake Shonon Jump post was real. if that was OK then this is actual content so it's perfectly OK to talk about it.

Lol. But jokes aside, it seems a one time deal. Otherwise, should have more of that in sketches, including the color one with Naruto and Sakura.

Exactly. Gaara has beaten her a few times, and even when he hasn't beaten her it's not like it was a significant difference. Sure you can argue that it would make sense popularity wise, but barely. Plot wise it would make tons of more sense. 

 

Hinata simply doesn't belong there.
