You know what ? If Hinata sketch was put here in place of Sakura's sketch, NaruHina fans would throw it at our faces saying NaruHina is canon because their sketches are side to side.

I haven't seen any of us doing that. I just find it funny that Hinata being on a cover confirms NH, when Sakura is the first female to be shown.

OK looks cool, Red Scarf, Red is Sakura's colour so NaruSaku Confirmed (lol I know lame argument) Though seriously why would NaruHina fans say Hinata knitted it for him? Sh'e have made it purple to remind him of her or orange because it's his favourite colour. I personally think it's Red because of the Uzumaki Red hair of his mother, he's probably on a mission to discover his heritage and the scarf represents the Red hair of Uzumaki., or as I said a reminder of Sakura.

Because they needed six charactors, and Hinta fit the bill...I could be wrong but the other five look like art drawn by Kishi while Hinata looks like a screen grab from the movie, could be wrong though the image is kinda low res.

 

I like the placing of all the charactors heads (except Hinata who is the oddball here) Kakashi's on the right, Sakura in center, and Sasuke on the left, to represent the team, and Sai and Shikamaru Left and right to represent potentially his right and left hand men when he becomes Hokage, (in Sai's case the leader of Anbu or Ne and Shikamaru as the future head of strategy. )

OT: i just really can't stand that hinata is on the cover based off of popularity.

Yeah, to me he looks like a mix between Ivankov, that long legs guy that was in the tournament, and the joker.

I hate that she's there out of popularity too, but it is for marketing. So their reason for putting her on the cover is as shallow as she is...

Yeah. I think Hinata does have a connection with him, just not a special one like Shikamaru.. like you said xD Remember RTN.

Pretty much. To me, she has the same value to Naruto as everybody else. Naruto has singled out Shikimaru before (like when he healed Shikimaru), as well as team 7, but when it comes to Hinata, he lumps her in with everybody else. He's never thought of her on her own, leading me to believe that she really isn't more important to him than anyone else.

Guys. It's just a scarf.  Why would it has something to do with the plot ? God I'm tired lol

 

Also, Hinata is not just here to fit the bill because they need 6 characters. She's here because they want her to be here. they want to tease fans with her.

If I remember correctly Naruto had his shirt open in a RTN Poster, but his Shirt wasn't opened once to show his bare chest in the movie. Maybe Naruto looks cool with the scarf. Or it's an omage to SNK. We can't know without any mor information.
