I thought that was confirmed as someone else? Didn't Brook fight Mr Samarai's body a couple of chapter back?

Its the same person. The head is with Sanji's party. The legs is with Luffy's party. And the torso was found by Brook but we don't know what happened to it after. Head+torso+legs= fullbody.

You're right didn't even notice that when reading, even the chapter is called 'about my Torso.

Not sure if having Monet in the crew would be good for her health, Leffy would want to ride her 24/7

So I've decided share here what I've posted in another thread. Its a crazy theory I have in mind on who is going to be the next crewmember. Its just wild speculation that I suddenly thought of so don't put me down for being too crazy.

Koala

Why her? Well I've been rereading the flashback by Jinbei after I watched the most recent anime episode and realized that she would be the one to destroy the misunderstanding between humans and fishmen. I think she will be a very important character in the future and will be making a reappearance because she has the logo of the Sun Pirates burned on her back. She is the only human to have that mark since only fishmen have it so it has to have some significance. It is also the reason why I think Jinbei didn't join after the fishmen arc. If he is destined to join the crew, I really believe that he would have already.

As you know Jinbei turned down Luffy's offer to join the crew because he has to settle stuff with Big Mum since he wants to quit working under her. This also works hand in hand with Luffy's declaration of war with Big Mum so most likely they will work together to fight against Big Mum's crew. But before that, the Strawhats will meet Koala somewhere in the New World and she will find out that the Strawhats are actually going to fight against the Yonkou and also free the Sun Pirates. Koala, having the mark of the Sun Pirates, will request to follow Luffy and help him fight against Big Mum. After everything is done, either Jinbei is killed or he'll decline Luffy's offer to join so that he can protect the Fishman Island, which will be under Luffy's flag from then on, with the Sun Pirates and ask Luffy to invite Koala instead.

Now as for her character and fighting abilities, it could be anything under the sun and Oda could just make her have anything since its a clean slate now. When she is growing up, she would have heard of Fisher Tiger's death sooner or later and she would feel betrayed by her village for doing such a thing. She will most likely run away from home and train herself to fight and maybe spend her time freeing fishmen/mermaid slaves around the world. Every member of the crew has an ultimate dream they want to achieve once they reach the end of the Grand Line so Koala's would be uniting humans and fishmen together in harmony. The mark of the Sun Pirates on her back symbolizes the bridge between human and fishmen.

Sabo

If you remember from this chapter, Dragon just got back from the Tenryuubito's visit to Goa Kingdom. And he seems to be carrying with him someone who is badly injured. It could only be Sabo. The scene where Sabo was devastated of the high society's behavior and then meeting Dragon was a significant scene. So most likely Sabo is working for the revolutionaries now. In some point of time, Luffy is going to meet Sabo, and he'll be the representative of the revolutionaries in the Strawhat crew to go to Raftel and retrieve the One Piece. Most likely OP will be something that will reveal the True History and that will definitely lead to an all-out war against the World Government. Sabo will go contact the revolutionaries and the war will start. The only problem with this theory is we already have Robin as the representative of the revolutionaries so Sabo may just meet Luffy but not join him.


Yeah so there we have it, 3 candidates for the next nakama.
1) Monet the Harpy
2) Koala
3) Sabo

Monet joining can only work if she turns out to be an artist. Koala will most likely be an important character due to the mark of the Sun Pirates burned on her back. And Sabo is still alive but him joining I'm still not sure about.

What do you guys think? If you have any other candidates and crazy theories to share, please do.

I simply keep hoping that Jinbei will join their crew.

About Jinbie joining? Yeah feel he'd mess up the power levels near the top, after a couple of arcs once we have a better idea of where Sanji and Zoro are in comparison and it would be fine but as they stand I don't think he'd fit in, also I want another female crew member, too many men in the crew at the moment, another female would make things more interesting.

I did like Shirohoshi as well, but she was probably too big to be a crew member, but we'll be seeing her in the future i'm sure.

Shirahoshi definitely can't join the crew. Other than her size being a problem, she can't fight and can't walk on land. I hope we see Vivi again but I don't think she has a chance to rejoin the crew unless Oda comes up with a very good reason.

She could travel with them by sea. Oh yeah Vivi is a reasonable choice. Although being a queen and all can't leave her lands. And can she fight? My memory of Alabasta is kinda foggy; Yeah, I read up to that point then just skpped ahead to the amazon arc hen went straight into the war with the marines.

Yeah the problem is most of the epic adventures are on land so since she's younger than 30, she isn't able to join in the fun. And she's an ancient weapon. I don't think an ancient weapon being a crewmember is a good idea. She will help Luffy at the end to fight against the government though, along with the other 2 ancient weapons, whatever or wherever those may be.

I so want to be Sanji right now. He's living the dream! I wonder if he will ever look at Nami the same way again once they swap back. So it seems like the main villain of this arc is Vegapunk's partner, Caesar Clown. Cool name. I wonder if its mistranslated from Crown. I hope we'll be getting more information on Vegapunk this arc since we know next to nothing about that guy and we have someone who has personal experience with him so I guess its likely. Anyway amazing chapter as always. And Tashigi smoking a cigar is epic.

Finally got to know why exactly there were those centaur like beings and the smoker <-> Tashigi body switch is fun to read/watch.
But on the overall an informative chapter giving us more details on the background of Punk Hazard.

Wonder how this Ceasar Clown will react to franky's body though, he'll probably remember some part of it from Vegapunks designs.

I liked the chapter, would appear that the prisoners are being fooled once again, the cause of their hardship is the one they are following, I read this chapter and saw Ceaser Clown and the first thought was this person reminds me allot of Orichimaru, and then he finally appeared and behold he actually looked like Orichimaru as well.

Yup she did. Aww that means Nami is willing to harm her body for the sake of Sanji's addiction. And Sanji in turn was trying his best to not smoke for the sake of Nami. Sanji/Nami FTW! But alas this is One Piece so that is no pairing moment but a nakama one.

I liked the chapter. Seems like the Supernovas rocked the New World. Didn't like the fact that BB was also grouped together with them but oh well. Lots of information and no action this chapter. Well we had lots of that during the last few. Is there going to be a chapter next week? I heard its a double issue this week. I'm always confused when it comes to Golden Week.

I'm sure he would but can he afford it though? I'm guessing all those suits and cigerette's are not cheap, and Nami is not cheap, and late payments have interest rate that are makes Loan Sharks rates reasonable, poor Zoro borrowed 100,000 Beli once which he returned a few hours later and he still found himself owing 100,000 beli interest just for those few hours.
