Well I've finally reached Diamond and Pearl again after such a long time, and unlike with Johto and Advanced/Battle Frontier, I'm gonna take it a little slower with Diamond and Pearl since it was once my favorite series from the anime before XY/XYZ. 

 

If anyone is curious,  I just finished rewatching Episode 3 where Ash and Paul battled for the first time.

 

Anyway,  agree or disagree? 

 

Ash and Paul as Rivals had better development than Naruto and Sasuke?

Agree, at least the writers didn't fall in love with the rival and  they don't over prise him.

You know we never really got a reference to Unovaa in Diamond and Pearl when it ended as far as I can remember. It ended with Ash running back to Pallet Town. So it's easy for people to skip Black and White, and jump straight into XY/XYZ.  

 

 

If we end XYZ the same way with Ash running back to Pallet Town and get no refference to Alola than I guess it'll be easy to skip to the next region... Under the assumption that Sun and Moon is gonna be another Black and White.

So I'm still watching Diamond and Pearl, but my ex and I were having a conversation about Diamond and Pearl the way it ended.  Ash told Dawn, and Brock that he needed some time off to be home and think about what he's gonna do next.  Like I said before I don't recall any refference to Unova one bit in Diamond and Pearl, Plus my ex even stated the same thing.  

 

We both asked if Alola was gonna get referrenced or not with the small amount of episodes we have left for XYZ?  on a scale of 1 to 100%?

 

I think it'll be 25% we'll get a refference.

 

 

 

Plus I also looked this up to, The real reason why Black and White sucked!! was because they "intended" for it to be a mini reboot which also meant dumping away everything Ash learned from Indigo League up to Sinnoh.     

 

 

I know I already kinda adressed, this before, but I'm gonna reinforcing things cause  I didn't pick up the dialogue that Ash said. 

 

 

 

Plus I got to say, at some point I wanna see Ash get to the Championship League, but will it ever happen. I guess only time will tell.

At first we were talking about the scans and how they are kinda cringy, but then we got to the Ash and Lillie picture and she said something that made me go like That would be interesting..

 

 So tell me what you think of this idea,  of Lillie actually being Ash's Cousin?
