The next chapter (spoiler or scanlation, doesn't matter) may be possibly delayed.
They're apparently getting strict with earliness of shipping out manga magazines, both Sunday and Magazine were affected it seems. Several places that got Jump early didn't this week.

 

So nobody can post spoilers if the Jump isn't in their hands.

 

 

In the worst case, we could have the chapter on the same day as the official magazine in Japan, on Monday (VIZ media with its Shounen Alpha is already doing this since a year, even if it's with fee and only valid for US/Canada residents).

There may be some slight delays and we could come back to when we are used to get spoilers/leaks on Thursday and the chapter on Friday (remember Ohana or nja?)

 

That explains it all. We just have to wait until Jump is released. Hopefully we all have a life to carry on. No ?

Shonen Jump: No chapters today

For several years, WSJ chapters came out on Wednesday i.e five days before the official release (which is Monday) but deliverymen decided to slow things up a bit.
This has already happened last week to Shonen Magazine (Fairy Tail) and it's now Shonen Jump's turn. So yes, we will have a chapter this week but we will have to be patient.
It will be like the time when chapters came out on Friday. We will still have the chapter 3 days before the official release. The other question is whether this is only for this week or not.
So don't look for the chapter because you will not find it. If there's no Shonen Jump to buy, there is no raw.
So there will be no Naruto, One piece or Bleach chapters today...

Okay, I am probably bringing this question again and please excuse me for that but....why isn't a new chapter released today? I think many people have asked this question and I am sorry for bringing this again but can someone kindly answer this for me?

The jump magazines are printed and they are at the warehouse, but nobody took them to deliver them earlier to the stores as it was for several years. I think we will be back a friday's release.

 

IMO, releasing the JUMP sooner in some stores in Japan brought some japanese fans to read it ONLINE instead of BUYING the magazine because the scan was available BEFORE the official release. IMO, those earlier releases were illegal. I think some deliver men took the JUMP sooner in exchange of some money.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, because it's only my opinion.

 

So those deliver men may have decided to stop doing that because of the strict new law.

It's not a big deal.

I think it will be delayed for this week, and then we will apparently be back to friday's release.

The wait will be longer this time, but after it will be back to be one week.

Really, not a big deal and no need to panic.

 

I want to read it too but meh ^^  I'll wait.

yes but it isn't from shounen jump. the raw providers don't have the copy of jump magazine today. So, no raw no chapters/spoilres

Friday is early for us. Not for Japanese. The "official delivery" is the date when they are in store in JAPAN.

 

I think this new law is to regulate what's happening in JAPAN in priority.

 

In Japan, the official release date is Friday. Correct me if I'm wrong Japanese forumers.

In Western countries, it's VIZ that's releasing on Monday. I'm right ?

 

But before being in store the shonen Jump needs to be PRINTED.

 

I believe (from what I read on the web) that the JUMP is printed on wednesday or before. Well, it's ready on wednesday because the scans have been available for years on wednesday, and they were not coming from the sky. LOL

 

I believe when the magazines are ready, printed and packed, some deliver men take some Jump magazine at the warehouse before they are allowed to do so officially. I think officially, the magazines are supposed to stay at the warehouse until be released in the stores on friday. This is in that time-lapse that some deliver men can take it sooner for some stores, and then some fans in Japan buy it to scan it.

 

So, if some stores would get the Jump BEFORE friday, the official release, then some japanese readers won't buy it when it will come out officially because they would have read the scan already. I think that's why the sales have dropped for the Jump.
