Characters tend to blush when they get excited, whether there's romantic feelings involved or not. Sakura was not happy that her "love interest" came to her, she was just glad for having Sasuke's backup given it hadn't happened since the good old Team 7 days.

I know, it could've been both. While we shouldn't make a deal out of it, it indicates that she still has feelings for him. If it actually was a blush, but I think it was. But it's mianly because of 540 I think she's not completely over him. She's taking one step at a time.

I don't think SS is dead. Sakura is keeping it alive with 540 and her recent blush, but her feelings for Sasuke never prevented her from loving Naruto.

I don't see how 540 keeps it alive when it was negative and she was only thinking of it because the letter nin said that whoever she likes must be a "great guy" , the point was that not every one she likes/ed is a great guy and Sasuke certainly isn't a great guy that's way she was sad because she liked a guy like him not that she still liked him , just look at her reaction when she says that she already likes someone else and then look at her after the great guy thing , i think the guy she was saying she likes was Naruto but that wasn't shown for obvious reasons .

 

And that "blush" if you want to call it like that i think it was a dirt  or else why would Kishi focused previously on her face and the dirt on her face so he can latter show to us that it was a blush ? i don't think that that was the case here but i will wait for a further confirmation on this one , but i wouldn't use this as evidence that she has feelings for him       

 

 

As much as i want it to be SS is not dead. She doesn't know about sasuke's state atm as well as sakura not declaring she doesnt love him anymore

Why does it matter if she knows about him when Kishi chose to ignore that ? If Kishi wanted her to know he would have made it be so but he didn't that ship sailed with this chapter since there is already someone next to Sasuke to take care of and that might be Karin with Taka or someone else it doesn't really matter , the point is that if Kishi played it in this way even if she knows about him it wouldn't change a thing she would have still be with Naruto and only be concern with him  so Sakura knowing about Sasuke is pretty much irelevant , there was no reason to put her in some kind of a choosing drama cus the result would be the same . I really don't know why some of you think that this matters when even the author doesn't care about it , its that simple , but i will agree on the fact that she should declare that she doesn't love him anymore even if it's clear by her actions that she doesn't love him , also this does not mean that at the same time she's not in love with Naruto or that she can't realize her feelings for him .

Alright, I'll just agree to disagree with you.. about the argument. The point is, I think Sakura still has lingering feelings for him. I don't think such a big factor in the team 7 drama would fade off-panel, but I think her next step is the last.

About the blush, I confirm that it's a blush and not dirt, I've got the volume itself and in the actual volume it's always clearer than in the scans. 

But I agree with you, it doesn't matter because if you remember well, at the beginning of the manga, she was blushing like in every chapter, for all and nothing at the same time. And even then, chapter 635 is contradicting the fact she could still have feelings for him or at least, she still have felings, but it's not love anymore, in my opinion.

I sorry, but these last two chapters should tell you to get the hint and be on with it. I think what redragon88 has in his sig pretty much is the final pairing going through. We're not in the beginning, we're at the end, where things are becoming clearer and clearer. Let's not forget we're going to see Madara's fight once Naruto and Sasuke are back up, so that leaves no more possibility for anything else but fights. I give up on mercy, it's time to be straight: this is it. If you want to be "careful", fine, but for me, it's clear as day now, especially on how Kishi has been writing this. Maybe because this is the first time that two women with potential love for their men is being in the mix, so people can't comprehend what's going on, as if some are wondering if this is a dream. Anyway, for me, whatever it comes to me from other pairings, I won't even take it consideration, especially if it's done in a very light tone compare to what's going on now. For God sake, Karin just awakened a new power for Sasuke. Why are we still fixated on other pairings, let alone pairing war.

 

Oh well, me being neutral, I should be ok. I just wish we can finally move on and stop creating our own fear.

Meh as far as Im concerned that single panel with Sakura and Karin cemented the final pairings for the story.

 

SS was never a factor or a chance the instant Naruto complimented her forehead on the bench. Sakuras character developed away from Sasuke and towards Naruto from that point on.

 

NH was never a serious threat merely a convenient side tool for Kishimoto sensei to motivate several plotlines and push Naruto as a character on a couple of occasions.

She would only get more desperate as the rest of the chakra she got she said she's using to heal Naruto.
She cant do anything for Sasuke and will get desperate because she knows this.
The fact is that people keep brining Sasuke's case because of wishfull thinking on wanting Sakura to confirm her love for Sasuke once again to forget about the recent NS moments.

It doesnt matter at this point. It seems either Kabuto or Karin are going to heal Sasuke and Sakura would never know he was dying, that would be the true end to SS. 

 

At this late in the game Kishi is pushing the pairing that is going to be cannon, there is no more time to play around anymore.
