+ Overall I was excited for this chapter. #630 was a good primer so I believed good things could happen, but I admit I did NOT expect Kishimoto to pack so much into a single chapter. I'm still reeling from all there is to consider.

I totally expected Minato thanking Sakura + telling her to take care of his son AND thinking she was Naruto's girlfriend, but man, I did NOT expect the Sakura/Kushina parallel to be confirmed; I thought it would make NS too obvious
not that it wasn't already and, if anything, he would say that just before disappearing after Edo Tensei was released. I'm sooo glad he said that, though!
Surprisingly, I haven't seen one Anti try to refute/deny the fact the parallel was confirmed. Good, because at this point it'd just be sad.

Naruto's affirmation of his feelings/intentions toward Sakura effectively ends any positive romantic potential for NH. The only way NH could happen now is if Sakura were to give Naruto a virtual kick in the groin and stab to the heart, and Naruto ended up with Hinata as a consolation. Not a hero's resolution, not going to happen.
Word. This is, what, the 7301887th time he's shown Naruto is STILL in love with Sakura and Sakura ONLY? Yet, people are still finding ways to deny this. It's so frustrating, but well, if they end up outraged in the end, it's only their fault for denying what was in the manga, clear for all to see.

I was wondering about that, too. My guess is Kishi just gives her those panels cause of a) her popularity and b) since she's gotten so much attention recently, it might be weird for her to all of a sudden fade into the background. But of course, there are people who think those panels of Hinata doing and saying nothing mean something important.

SOO agree with you here. For cryin' out loud, Sasuke, you joined Akatsuki, tried to kill Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi multiple times, and intended to destroy Konoha. You REALLY shouldn't expect people to just forget about that.
And yes, Naruto really needs to put Sasuke in his place. It's about damn time.
