I never liked her character even when i wasnt a shipper, i disliked her character concept, i dont know why she has this popularity, she doesnt have any appeal.

But even since when i wasnt a shipper i never found a chemistry on Naruto and Hinata, there's no chemistry on them they simply dont match up or compliment each other.

As a writer, I have to say I dislike (that's putting in nicely) characters like Hinata no matter who they are. I'm not speaking for all writers of course, but when a writer of any kind makes up a character, they usually want the best for them (except the villains who can go and die in a fire).

 

For me, writing a character like Hinata would be a waste of my time. She'd be a 'writer's block character' if anything. What's the point in making a character if they never get development? Hinata got development in a recent chapter, yes, but it didn't last long at all: "Naruto's hand is...so big and strong." I mean seriously? After one of the most powerful speeches in the manga we're going back to this?

 

I'm not trying to bash her character or anything, but any time she takes one step forward in character development, she takes two steps back some point later on. 

 

People say Sakura's useless. Okay, let's see here...name one thing she hasn't done for him. She was going to raise her hand during the test, she stood up for him against Sasuke...TWICE I should probably add. All in all, she was willing to make him hate her for the rest of her life just so she could ease some of the pain he was suffering from. Not only that, she has healed several people and can handle herself.

 

Hinata CANNOT compare to that. All she really did was practically commit suicide to save Naruto. That speech she gave in 615...completely out of the blue, and completely forced. Naruto should have been used to death by that point. He should have learned that there are things he can't change, especially during a war.

Yeah but Sasuke is from the Uchiha clan. And the Uchiha clan is clan of love, so much love in fact that when they lose that love they go insane and start killing people and they also what to create a special world filled with puppies and rainbows, because they can't deal with reality.

It doesn't really matter what Sasuke did or didn't do. For them Sasuke is awesome. Also most of the Sasuke fans like him because they watched "Dragon Ball Z" and they compare Sasuke to Vegeta. Personally I don't see the similarities at all. The only thing they have in common is that both Sasuke and Vegeta are "rivals" of the main protagonist. But even that is stretching it.

 

 

 

Personally I don't like Hinata because of two reasons. First of all I don't like what Kishi is doing with her, to me it feels like he is just shoving Hinata in there for drama purposes, to have her fans go insane over something insignificant. Because every time she is in the manga is because of her feelings for Naruto, that's the only thing she has going for her character. And if you take that away, you're felt with nothing, you literally erase her. It's like she never even existed. When you have a character that cannot exist without an element then you have a bad character.

Secondly I don't like her fans because they exaggerate her moments. For example chapter 437 when Hinata "saved" Naruto. The fact of the matter is she made the situation worse then it already was. Pure luck and Minato was the reason no one died because of Hinata's intervention.

But I don't hate her. I actually would love to see a better Hinata, I would love to see her leading her clan and to take care of little sister. I want a character that doesn't need to the paired with someone in order to exist. And I am a NS fan therefore I am their "enemy" and I want all that stuff for Hinata and they don't. They just want Hinata to get Naruto.

That alone should tell you something.

 

I doubt Kishimoto does it for that purpose, as that only applies to the American audience.  The Japanese fandom know Hinata's a side character, and she isn't as popular as she is in the US.

 

One of the most glaring double standards in the American Naruto fanbase.  People hate Sakura for her lingering feelings for Sasuke (though those keep diminishing as time goes by), but love Hinata despite the same kind of infatuation with Naruto.  The reason is simply because Naruto is a good person, and Sasuke was a jerk.  Of course, the fact they focus on the object of the affection instead of the affection itself makes the fallacy so obvious.

I might be in love with this post, you've expressed my opinion on Hinata so much better than I was able to, thank you for that.
 

As to the bolded, aren't the most interesting villains the ones who get major development and who are written in such a manner that the reader can understand (not agree with, but understand) the villains illogical "logic" (if that makes sense).  I'm usually interested in villainous characters who are well-written, because even though I detest them (or I would detest them in real life), the exploration of how their minds work can be fascinating.  I just think that fiction works better when it's clear that villains aren't villains in their own mind and we get a glimpse as to why the villains don't think of themselves as villains.

For all the secret lovers stuff people were talking about in uns2 and 3, well it's just referring to how naruto and hinata have a secret love, I mean the team names are derived from a varity of stuff like association, teams, and villages. I mean if you put sakura, ino, and Karin in the same team you got the team all set on Sasuke. Others existed like Kakashi and Chiyo if anything. Even hidan, kakuzu, and yugito made a team just over one battle that occurred. Team names were just by association in this, the secret lovers stuff is just made over the characteristic of naruto loving sakura and hinata loving naruto, both secretly. Nh fans just overreacted to it really just remember what's in the manga.

A bigger mystery I'm wondering is a nh fan like forneverworld used one of lady gts narusaku artworks for one of his videos (the different image thing when it's only leading to the video, not the page of the video) this video was called how do you think naruto will end, he leaves out most pairing stuff but when it comes to it he just says this "the pairing stuff needs to end, naruto needs to choose a woman, hinata or sakura, it should just end, but in my opinion just saying, he should choose the girl with bigger breasts." That's it, after hearing this, I stopped watching apparently that's the best reason now, talk about shallow. Now it's a mystery. Why being so nh did he use a ns fan art piece for the video? That's a fun y mystery.

 

I saw a couple of his videos and it weren't that bad , but when i came to the one you've mentioned and the line '' pick the one with bigger boobs '' i just felt disgusted . You have the right to state an opinion but such a shallow one ....... I couldn't stand that and wrote to them to stop putting Naruto in Sakura's shoes and read the damn manga , it was just ... so irritating. I also am wondering about that fact you mentioned ,why in the world would he use that pic/image if he is a NH fan? Its shrouded in mystery .

Btw, he put out two videos in two days, the first one was a NH thumbnail and the second was NS. Maybe it's to please all fandoms, because I've noticed how he seems afraid of being honest in his opinion in order to not lose viewers. (for instance his ever-changing opinion of Sakura)

There was a thread not long ago why is hinata so adored , the usual argument was '' Because of breasts '' ...................................

She can't compare in contrast with Sakura that much is true , but people over hype her qualities and exaggerate her moments like she kicked Obito in the nuts and he admitted defeat .

I think he meant the other way around , meh , forget about them , its simply not worth it anymore .


Oh, and about Sakura's feelings i forgot to mention in my previous posts - realizing them off panel will be absurd as well in a flashback . Heck , i don't want Sasuke doing something that is inevitable by this point to push her bottled up feelings at this point .

My guess is , as usual she will lose Naruto , something like the Slug princess missed the Toad Sage's train as in a classical cliche . People always acknowledge something they love/care/appreciate/hold dear when they don't have it no more  .

If Naruto pissed Kushina off, Kushina will definitely teach Naruto some lessons... But she will then regret it... Like Sakura.. But somehow, people didn't see that... They'll just say, "Sakura is a total hot temper... Different than Kushina.." That was not true! After Sakura punches Naruto or teach him a lesson she will calm down... And, when people said Kushina has a soft smile like Hinata, I become more irritated... Sakura also has a soft smile.. But they didn't know it, because technically, they dislike Sakura... Honestly, I am thinking that NaruHina fans are just trying to find matches between Hinata and Kushina.. This is what I think.. But idk what you guys will say xD... Please reply me though.. Hinata is not a Tsundere not had the same  insecurities as Sakura nad Kushina  nor the same past neither hated Naruto, end of story .

Everyone protected Naruto including Sasuke , so Hinata is nothing special at all . Sakura went to kill Sasuke to save him from darkness because she loves him ,but fail to do so because she loves him , derp.

People need to learn what the lie was and she wasn't lying about her feelings ,but that she doesn't care about Sasuke no more .... Al he does alright , he said it 10 times in the manga , so they have to deal with it .

I disagree that she tried to kill Sasuke because she loves him.

 

Killing Sasuke was plan B, wasn't it? She resorted to it because she couldn't convince Naruto. Besides..I find it funny while we are so wrong listening to our third parties(who make assumptions while Naruto and/or Sakura are there listening, practically confirming them), the only manga evidence that supports this argument is what Sai said.

 

Naruto doesn't understand why Sakura is going to kill Sasuke. Sai tries to make sense of it, and takes a wild guess. Yes, it was a wild guess, because did not he speak with Sakura about it or her love for Sasuke, she was not even there to confirm/disconfirm it. That, and the fact that it contradicts with another thing he said, "She was only thinking of you(Naruto)", makes me think this is a much weaker statement than any of our thirdparties.

 

I can't believe how this one sentence of Sai is so overused, but anything he says about NS is false and ignorant.

Well yeah, Sakura's plan was to tell Naruto about everyone decided to quit and will kill Sasuke when he shows up, but she knows that will hurt Naruto, so she believed she found a way to have him coming back home. When it failed, she decided to go to Sasuke and finish him. Sai said that she's planning to do it herself because if there's anyone for Naruto to hate, it will be her and that's her way to redeem everything she has done. It's funny because that arc shows that both of them don't feel worthy for each other. Naruto not worthy for her for not keeping his promise and Sakura not worthy for him for putting a huge burden on him that could lead him to his death.

I guess that's why Naruto pretty much said it's complicated between them to Minato. Can't blame him. It's complicated, but soon, it will be plain and simple.
