Their sworn to secrecy though. I dont think anyone would want anything about it getting out. Sarada is a kid (yeah a smart one) but you never know even with kids when something small could get out and compromise things. 

 

Sure the whole situation sucks, but hating on Sakura for keeping that oath is really nothing substantial. 

I'm not blaming her. I'm asking why she never told Salad any story of why Sasuke isn't home? It a plot hole that exist to make some drama in this stupid story. If Salad at least knew he father was on this secret mission instead of I don't know finding himself or something than maybe she be less suspicious of whether her mother is actually her mother. Sure Salad would still probably want to tag along with Naruto to finally meet her father but it would remove part of this stupid drama that's been going on for 5 chapters.

I just got off from a series where the guy can't say anything because it was an oath that links to a power that it shall be unleashed when the secret is out. This is just something that can be said by saying "He's away because of a mission." Anything that can be said easily and shortly. What makes a difference between now and then. Instead, they're being pretty stubborn about it. You mean to tell me that they would think the villain now is worse than Kaguya, who is established to come after the birth of ninja. I don't buy it. I was actually in for Sasuke being hated and redeem himself by going outside and not return like a tragic hero even though he's not but the series is full of forced sympathy, but instead we got a long mission that he didn't bother to contact at all. I mean at all. Instead, we got Sasuke being right of course. All I'm waiting now is "Apology accepted," said by Sasuke.

Naruto gets fatally injured from protecting Sarada from the enemy's attacks.

If you can't steal the daughter of your proclaimed "disgrace of the Uchiha" to get him pushed to a corner then what's the next best thing.........kill her right in front of him and her mother 😑

But here comes Uncle Naruto to stand in the way of the attack as a character like Naruto would, and end up fatally injured. Lucky for him a medical ninja is on the way to treat his wound while also explaining to her daughter of "their" situation. All the while father of the year is somewhere in the vicinity checking clues and not staying with his family to explain their situation himself😑

The series is supposed to be about Boruto and Sarada, and yet it still revolves around Sasuke. Has nothing changed at all???? He got 700 chapters already, if you're going to make a series based on new characters then focus on the new characters.

The series is supposed to be about Boruto and Sarada, and yet it still revolves around Sasuke. Has nothing changed at all???? He got 700 chapters already, if you're going to make a series based on new characters then focus on the new characters.

But the entire reason why Salad is the main character of the gaiden and Bolt the movie is so they can revolve both plots around Sasuke.

As for "he's away on a mission" I guess sarada would logically as more questions, not getting any answers from sakura she'd go around asking everyone else. It could cause complication.

 

But hey this is Kishi's manga, I dont understand half the stuff he writes.

Honestly why couldn't Sakura at least say "Salad, honey your father is on a top secret mission that only the kages, their right hand men, and me know about. I'm not allowed to reveal what the mission is about because you don't have the clearance level. As well as you father wishes it to be kept as much a secret as possible. i don't even know when he will return or if he will ever return. But know this he does love you."

But still, it isn't an excuse to abandon your kid ! Yes, he is in a secret mission, but seriously, for 12 YEARS ? this isn't love ! We're not even sure if he loves Sakura, so Sarada....

I think Kishi did a terrible mistake by making Sasuke out of the village for 12 years. But of course, it's SASUKE, so he's gonna be forgiven and still loved by everyone because he's good looking ! (don't take this as an attack towards you, right ? I'm saying this because of what kishi did ! )
