So Fairy Tail: worth reading? Any fun ships? Anything heartbreaking like NS?

You know something? My eyes are really starting to open to the passion and resentment that those who were betrayed are feeling with regards to Hinata. I think genuine hatred for that girl is beginning to rise inside of me. Everything about her personality is callous, illogical, selfish, and unworthy.

Been there for a whiiiillleeee. I used to just be ambivalent towards her and then Neji died and she's talking about warm hands and kitten over his still warm corpse, and then she trips over a rock and the fandom cries and claps for her like she just saved someone's child.   

Meanwhile Sakura can't get props for saving a kitten ton of people. 

 

 

They just got the manga, and there have been a lot of negative reactions. But honestly, just wait until someone can translate them before you judge, google translate blows.

Off topic: the lack of LuNa fanfictions is criminal.

Also, guys...I want a Sakura alarm clock that screams "SHANNARO!" and threatens to beat me if i don't get up. Guaranteed I would never be late again

The problem I'm noticing is that some people (Forneverworld was like this too) are more caught up in this being the final chapter rather than actually looking at how it was executed.

Yeah, it's worth it. The ships are pretty damn obvious, so you won't be disappointed by an asspull ending where two of the main characters get destroyed in two chapters, completely spitting on 15 years of character development in favor of a retconned movie.

In light of the sheer unreality of Naruto's conduct and the discarding of his longest and most personal pursuits to earn Sakura's love, Hinata has no right to speak of anyone else's mantra, especially not Naruto's. He's a hypocrite that abandoned the deep-rooted affections he held for Sakura, just to appease the unwanted Hyuga who accomplished nothing for herself aside from being a trophy wife. 

exactly. hinata really has no development beyond stalking naruto. her "ninja way" is just copying naruto's to be close to him. hinata didnt really work for naruto. she didnt have the balls to talk to him, hang out with him, learn why he does what he does, etc. sakura could read naruto like a book. she knew when he was upset or hurt and just hiding it with a smile. hey, remember when naruto was fighting tobi before the war and he got knocked back into the water. hinata was worried about him, thinking he was really hurt. sakura, OTOH, kept her eyes on tobi and told hinata not to worry about him since that wasn't an attack that would really hurt him. 

 

that shows that sakura knew naruto better than hinata ever did or ever will.

God, just had a sick though that Sakura is going to try to push NH in the movie out of pity and guilt for throwing Naruto aside.

 Fairy Tail's worth reading ^-^ Unlike Kishi, Mashima doesn't toy with his ships and I like the arcs. The latest arc is pretty intense haha. 

 

The big 4 couples are--> NaLu, Gruvia, Jerza, and Gale.

I didn't care too much for her in those moments either. But I tried to look beyond her pettiness and mania for Naruto in the hopes that we might pay witness to a shift in her priorities and the shedding of her childlike desires to start anew as a strong, determined, and independent woman that's more interested in the greater good of her clan than how big or warm her object's hand is. Clearly my hopes were misplaced. She's done nothing to better herself, yet in the end it was her selfish desires that Kishi chose to provide for. 

 

Once again, I don't blame Sakura for this injustice. I blame Kishi's incompetence and the fans' lack of comprehensive hindsight for the manga.

Japanese NS fans are just going to have to be vocal about it. They seem like a dedicated bunch, I'm hoping they voice their dissatisfaction and I hope that this SS relationship gets put under the spotlight. It's truly disgusting.

also, a friend of mine on facebook isn't really into naruto, asked me about the ending. i told her and even she was disgusted with how it all turned out. 

 

that's right. a non-naruto fan found this ending to be terrible. that should tell you something, kishi.
