Stalin and one of Marshals of Victory - Zhukov used this strategy in WW2, you know results I think.

Just wait for that Madhouse or Production I.G. Tokyo Ghoul Brotherhood remake.I hate to say this but I feel tempted to get that limited edition of TG anime season 1. Why those guys have to ruin it!

Whatever Sasaki in his state right now is no-name CCG, he only fight trough because of Kaneki's power, that's sad. CCG in :re, became faceless, no cool new investigator's (okay, Son of Ito is pretty tough), no good quinque (only some swords that loooks like billiard cue 
TG CCG looked far more "cool" and "elite" than this one.

I think it's one fo the effects of expanding the world, more "faceless" people appearing, etc
In TG we had clear protagonists on both sides, Kaneki's group with Anteiku on the side and in the CCG we had the 20th ward investigation group with some new people appearing here and there
TG;re is building the world too fast, introducing a lot of people at once due to the nature of the Quincy group, this can be risky if Ishida doesn't know how to handle it...
