There's nothing to develop on Lee i think, everyone is done, then we will go back to team 7.

There're some things which bother me:

1)The opening colour pages of next chapter, at 99% they'll be centred on NH who are holding their hands. Thereafter I'll see that original picture everywhere as avatar and signature. This really would make me more upset.
2)When the anime will arrive at this point, I'm pretty sure that they'll make at least 5 episodes centred on this gesture making more canon this crap of NH. We all know how they're biased about Hinata. Remember that BS from Pain Arc?

I dont care, i'm more concerned is if we will got a NS moment on this arc if we got the anime team can make an entire filler arc based on this and still will be irrelevant.
And i'm expeting the Obi/rin parallel be Naru/saku .

I don't think we'll see any direct parallel to obi/rin. not after the latest chapter. We saw neji and some fodder nins already dead and then a panel of obito holding rin so i think it was already established but for friendship instead of love.

Yes we see but that panel showed Obito's pain, but still is not a valid one, that panel was not about friendship it was about love the context of that flashback, when neji died Naruto feel the pain of losing a friend but it's not the same.
What i'm saying is Neji's death opened the path for Naruto to understand Obito but still is not about it.

He thought he was watching Naruto become just like him.

@KnS Wow you just highlighted most of my favorite moments between the 2 and I totally agree with both you and redragon88, its why I can never agree with people when they say its obvious that Sakura doesn't love Naruto, I will admit that at present we don't know how deep her feelings go but to be honest I don't think she does either.

When Sai told her that Naruto loves her she started crying once she realized that his promise was made out of love and resolved to never hurt him again, if that doesn't show that she at the very least cares deeply for Naruto then I don't know what does. To say she doesn't care about him is just an outright lie.

I have a question I've been thinking about after the response (from all sides) of 615 and it stems from the posts I've seen seeing that Naruto could have very easily have given up on Sakura and come to love Hinata off panel, so I started wondering if there is a precedent from Kishi with that type of writing, has any major characterization changes or developments happened off panel regarding primary characters like Naruto?

Y'know, if there was one side that is basically the Joker card in the pairing wars, it would be Kurama. Why?? because no one knows Naruto better than him. Only he would know what Naruto's feelings are. If he ever makes a statement about Naruto's love life, you can bet it's make-or-break when the time comes. (NaruSasu comment not withstanding).

Actually there is no precedent in this manga of people changing based of something that happened off panel.

I guarantee you that studio Pierrot is gonna turn 615 into a kittening movie just like they did Hinata's confession. Beautiful animation and beautiful visuals. Oh, but it doesn't stop there! Rest assured that Pierrot is gonna make Hinata wound the Juubi.

Wanna know something good?? apparently at this year's Jump Festa, Pierrot announced they're going to give Sasuke the best animation teams during this war arc.

Yup, that's right. The boring-ass Kabuto fight will get top-notch animation while the Bijuu fights are going to be like kitten. Yup, veeeryy unprofessional. Why wasn't I surprised??

They outsource the animation to korean studios.
I hope NS becomes canon and when naruto ends they make a remake with a quality studio.
Like they did with DBZ, and FMA.

@Codus N and morevoer that wasnt even a fight at all, Itachi simply used an asspull genjutsu from nowhere and defeated Kabuto.
It was one jutsu more talk, jutsu more talk , talk ,flashback, asspull jutsu, talk gg

Yeah I heard about that crap. Doesn't make any sense at all. That's why I rarely watch the anime anymore. What's even funny is that they produce better animation for filler than they do canon. I mean just taking a glimpse at the latest filler arc tells it all.

Well it was good only one the first two episodes but the animation decreased to the normal levels and they forgot to pay for a better story because srsly it just become just like another filler arc/movies, the same villains and the same purposes.

And the funny thing is that it was Kurama who rained on the NH parade by interrupting Naruto's inner monologue and reminding him that there were more people who have already sacrificed their lives for Naruto and it was not just Lady Hinata who was ready to do that for him.

And moreover, on a serious note, yes, Kurama can tell Naruto of times like when Sakura ran towards him when he was in Kyuubi induced frenzy... but well. Keeping expectations very very low.

Read the chapter again, and I can only say, Mr. Kishimoto's human figures are very very unflattering. Poor drawing quality, and I'm still disliking "...all this time" and "his hand, big and strong... makes me feel safe." though for reasons entirely different than shipping.

I think what really pisses me off is that they made two unimportant episodes look like a million dollars was invested in it. Same thing with Hinata's confession. It's not like it was important or anything during that arc. Further proof is the release of the relationship chart after her confession. She's not even in it...

The worse things i that the NH fandom claims that this scene made him move on from Sakura lol.

But back to the whole Naruto kinda sheltering Sakura from feeling for him (like if he's injured or in danger), maybe that could mean something in the future.

I don't recall any big moments of one of the K11 truly stating that he WILL be Hokage and they will help (I keep thinking maybe Shikamaru did though) It would be cool if Sakura not only stated she would stand up to protect his life, but also if she stood up to help him accomplish his dreams during this war.

After all, isn't that what Obito is threatening here? Naruto keeps stating he doesn't want to be Hokage in a dream. Hinata just gave him a speech about his life, so what about his dreams? I think it is also heroine-like to stand up for someones dreams (although... it is not her own, unless she is making Naruto's dream her dream which I'm a little uncomfortable with... but yeah)

That is a much stronger parallel.

There is one scene that apparently was off panel, but not anymore, and that is the flashback to Naruto confessing he loved Sakura in a more serious manner. It's not really a 'development', but it was an important moment we didn't know about until Sai showed up.

Well, finally up again. 12 hours in the new year. Happy New Year, everybody.

About the animation, yeah, they have become biased, didn't they? At least that's what I think. I do hope for a remake of itself alas DBZ Kai. It's as if some of them refused to animate unless their favorite character is involved. Pain Arc got me cringe and not because of 166, rather the whole fight. That fight is the most needed top-notch animation and they failed it. Not only that, they could have take it more serious with it (167), so everything got messed. OVA 2011 is better than the whole anime version, even though it lasts about 7 seconds. Bottom line, it's really out of control in the world of animation.

Next, about Kuruma. You know, I know it's not the best timing, but he could reflect it in a matter of second, but it does make it seem like he holds the card to tells us about Naruto's current feelings. There wasn't any here. I once imagined that Kuruma will say something that Sakura is a lot like Kushina in terms of anger and all. After all, he was in Kushina's body. I always would like Naruto tells Kuruma that he's sorry for hurting Sakura, like a small comedy routine but at the same time, serious. After all, she was the only to get hit by it which made Naruto stopped using Kyuubi in the first place. I know Jiraiya got hurt bad too, but well he's dead. Hm, actually, this would be nice scene because I don't know if Sakura knows that Naruto knows the truth behind the whole thing. It doesn't matter much, but hey, Kishi does address just about everything. Look at Gaara's situation earlier with the parents and all. It's an idea, happen or not. I thought I should share some. That said Kuruma hasn't touch upon Sakura, so it could be interesting if he has any comment on her once she approach to Naruto. Remember, they met when Kuruma was sealed and the other time (609) he wasn't present. Who knows. Kuruma can be the Joker card.

Lastly, about the off-panel. Again, it won't be off-panel development FOR Naruto. Sai's flashback is something that we already know as readers; however, the reason for this is to persuade Sai to talk to Sakura about Naruto's overdoings for the sake of her love and his own dream (rescue Sasuke). Well, we did get a reason why he didn't confess, but not really a development, more like understanding his thoughts when he failed the mission back in part 1. Besides, for Hinata and Naruto, there wasn't any room and remember, when they met in the battlefield, it implies that they never talk until now. It's the same as Konohamaru. When he did genjutsu on the guards, Naruto finally commented on his good work success to protect and managed to get stronger. Well, that's all for now. Happy New Year, everyone!
