This is going to be a tough second half of the season. Pretty much do or die with the Colts and Steelers now.

F you refs, didn't even spot the damn ball, Shoulda had that first down. Nonetheless they deserved to lose that game, more dumb decisions by the Fatman, and the inability to convert on 3rd/4th &short continue to plague this team. ugh. Whatever, bring on the Chargers.

Week 10 Power Rankings

1. New Orleans Saints Next Game: @ St. Louis Rams
2. Indianapolis Colts Next Game: VS. New England Patriots
3. Minnesota Vikings Next Game: VS. Detroit Lions
4. Cincinnati Bengals Next Game: @ Pittsburgh Steelers
5. Pittsburgh Steelers Next Game: VS. Cincinnati Bengals
6. New England Patriots Next Game: @ Indianapolis Colts
7. Denver Broncos Next Game: @ Washington Redskins
8. Dallas Cowboys Next Game: @ Green Bay Packers
9. Atlanta Falcons Next Game: @ Carolina Panthers
10. Arizona Cardinals Next Game: VS. Seattle Seahawks

The first Thursday night game of the year will feature Bears@49ers, both teams need a win to keep up in the playoff hunt. Some nice matchups include Bengals-Steelers, and the game of the week, Colts-Patriots.

We came. We saw. We totally blew it against the Saints.

It's a typical Panthers off year. Good news, it means would should probably be good next year. Someday we will have two good seasons in a row.

Final scores

Thursday
49ers 10 Bears 6

Today
Redskins 27 Broncos 17
Panthers 28 Falcons 19
Jaguars 24 Jets 22
Bengals 18 Steelers 12
Vikings 27 Lions 10
Dolphins 25 Buccaneers 23
Saints 28 Rams 23
Titans 41 Bills 17
Chargers 31 Eagles 23
Packers 17 Cowboys 7
Chiefs 16 Raiders 10
Cardinals 31 Seahawks 20

Another loss, same problems. Bad decisions by the fatman, inability to convert on 3rd and short, Defense making has beens look youthful, and of course penalties. Came close to a comeback, but close only matters in horseshoes & hand grenades. I've never been one for moral victories, you either win or you lose (or tie!). sick.gif

But hey, I'm here for the bad, so when the good comes I'll enjoy it even more. Chicago is next, they've played like crap against them for the last two years, and the game is a sunday night game, which of course, they haven't won on since the switch to NBC. It's the perfect fing storm, should be fun.

Hey, we won. With Miami, the Jets, and Tampa next we could realistically be 7-5. Of course, then we have the Patriots, Vikings, AND Saints at the end. It's going to be a brutal final month for them.

Using two time outs for no reason, then going for it on 4th and 2 on the 30...

Absolutely terrible breakdown at the end.

Bill really did shoot himself in the foot. Pretty much gave the finger to his defense when they went for it. Awesome, demoralize your defense and give them 30 yards to defend. Real smart.

Actually, I can see the rationale behind it. Even punting, you still give Peyton 2+ minutes to march 70 yards down the field - plenty of time for him. Why not convert the first and make sure he never gets the ball?

Not saying I would've made the same decision, just that I understand it. And it still was a giant "YOU SUCK" to his defense.

That was the largest blown lead in the Belicheck era, also, The Colts have won 5 out of their last 6 games against their arch nemesis. The tide has turned in that rivalry. Im not gonna argue with a guy who has won 3 titles, but There's no way in hell I give a future Hall Of Famer the ball at the 30, you know youre finished.

The Dolphins have won nearly half their games this season and have nearly won three others but failed to finish. Its not much of a surprise, especially against the Bucs.

But hadn't his secondary already earned that themselves by giving up 300 yards passing?

Yes, and that's why all the "disrespect" talk afterwards from BOTH teams is hilarious.

Even if you're convinced that was a horrible move, it's still not the worst coaching decision ever. Not by a long shot. Proof (see Item #7)
