You're missing out....I wanted the Fate route too but I'm more for story over pairings, they each provide something different which is good to me, that's why I didn't care that it wasn't the Fate route

I just think saber was cooler in the fate route, that's why I want it so bad. She isn't as good in UBW, and I don't like heavens feel. The fact that ends up Shiro and saber in the fate route is just a bonus.

Episode 1, season 2

Pretty good episode. Totally forgot though that Shirou confessed to Rin during that scene during the starry night scene XD (AHK must be raging right now )
Poor Saber T_T Chained up like that.
For some reason, I don't like the opening or ending. I don't even remember the melody tbh.

Lol nah, I don't mind Shiro and rin, I just like saber and Shiro better.

Saber is the best in Fate/Zero if you ask me. I feel that she is very neglected in UBW. Heaven's Feel Route... Oh well, we can thank Sakura for that XD

But seriously, Saber in Fate/Zero > each one of the routes in FSN.

Yes, Saber was awesome in Fate/Zero. I watched Fate/Zero first, so you'll prob understand why none of the other routes will overtrump the one in Fate/Zero.

The episode was way better than I was expecting. Good development for basically every character in the episode, and everything in general was just done really well. It also flowed very naturally from the last episode of cour 1 into this episode, which I wasn’t expecting either. Very promising for the show.

I think she got more spot light in fate zero, and more action scene than in fate stay/night (ubw or hf).
But I think the character who get the most focus is kiritsugu.

I wouldn't say negative... The way she acts is b/c she has yet to acknowledge the mistakes she has done in the past. Saber was by no means perfect, and her undergoing a development was done perfectly in my eyes (yes, even if it turns out that she was a flawed ruler of her country). I loved her last snippets in the anime. The way she stood in that battlefield with all of her men defeated but still looking forward and rising again... I personally loved it.
