After 50 chapters about Kaguya and how she planned on using Madara, because she was foiled by her two sons, were gonna get the sage's brother. He's gonna be the final villain.

 

What's messed up about how Rowling did it, was that she planned those pairings since the beginning. However HG got next to no development and RH didn't seem to match up at all. Yeah we had the classic 'boy is mean to girl he likes', but they don't seem compatible at all. I know opposites attract, but they always seemed to put the other down and argue with each other and I rarely saw them interact positively with one another, unless it was to help Harry. Though, that could be because I only saw the movies.

Well if you think about it even Naruto's dream is "selfish". And I say this because in the beginning it was selfish but over time it became selfless. He wants to be Hokage not just for himself but in order to also help other people.

 

That shows in a way, how much he has matured, being an idiot as he is.

You know what would be awesome? If Edo Hokages and Team 7 aren't motivated because Sasuke sucked the energy of motivation. So Naruto has to bounce back and make them understand Sasuke is a good guy. So:

Naruto: Listen to you guys! Sasuke may not be a team player, but he's always Team 7. Sakura-chan, when you was about to lose against Ino, who helped you to get back on your feet?

Sakura: You did.

Naruto: And Kakashi-Sensei, when you was about to give up life, who revived you?

Kakashi: That would be you...

Naruto: Right...if we just pretend that all the nice stuff I did happen from Sasuke, then we can truly see him as a great man. To be Team 7. To be the Alliance!!

Hashirama: Yeah, for Naruto!!!

All except Sasuke: YEAH!!!

Lmao. Yeah, we've been getting a new villian each time the previous one falls - first Obito, then Madara, now Zetsu who obeys Kaguya's will, then probably Kaguya herself. I was thinking, "huh, after Kaguya there's no other person who can be an antagonist when she is defeated [not counting Sasuke ofc]," but, you've reminded me of the Sage's brother. Yep, he's going to be the final villian.

Suddenly it got me thinking, Kabuto was defeated by Sasuke (aid by Itachi) something -redeemed-, Obito was defeated by Naruto (aid by Sasuke) -redeemed but MIA-.

 

Then now, Madara/Kaguya. Maybe Sakura, aid by Naruto/Sasuke/Kakashi or something will take the role? I'm really bad with putting this up *sigh*. Hope all of you get what I was curious about 

 

If I think it back, it seems that Madara's fight was half-baked, unlike Kabuto or Obito. What do you guys say?

I think this series will last for another year or two. And that's only if kishi stops screwing around with all these villains and back stories. Seriously, Madara's back story was fine and all, but I barely remember it cause I was skimming the chapters. Obito's back story has been repeated a dozen times and you just know before he dies, there's gonna be flashbacks of it. Now that Kaguya looks to be appearing soon, were gonna get her story and possibly more info on the sage's brother. The people in the IT are gonna need a reality check otherwise when they get out, everyone will be pissed at T7 for taking them away from their desires. Edo kages gotta go, Orochimaru and Kabuto need a conclusion, and how the villages will proceed after the war needs to be shown realistically.

 

Kishi has a lot of stuff to cover and I'm worried he's gonna half ass it, by skipping over a lot of Sakura's needed development( she still needs to be able to fight beside the boys.), gloss over the N/S fight, and do a time skip with the end pairing, not showing the confessions and why they got together. All because he want to be done with the manga, cause it's already past it's due time.

 

But, hopefully Kishi takes it seriously, cause he's already done things that have people annoyed and if he ends the story on a rushed crappy note, then he might have a lot of angry ex-fans to deal with.

Now I do see a chance of this happening. naruto and Sakura got together with a child and all this after a timeskip. Maybe we will be shown what happened in a flashback and maybe just the glimpses of it. That'd not be a good ending for such a beautiful pairing, really. It reminds me of one of my fav manga, Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X. The ending just show how the male & female protagonist have a child in the end of the manga during Hanami Festival several years later. It is kind of disappointing, but still, happy ending is a happy ending. I do hope Kishi will get out of that circle and tell/give a sneak peek of the event before the ending of the manga. Something that is like a resolve for everybody, at least.

I still do think that NS deserves to get an overview of the scenario and not just resolution and then timeskip  . I hope or rather I pray that that Kishi will give us the confession and everything :/

Second that. They deserve some kind of proper resolve, IMO. But then again, this is shounen, not shoujo. They don't pay too much attention in that dept. Probably Kishimoto will be different among the usual standards (praying).

I think he is aware of the pairing wars, so I recon that he will surely give us a satisfying conclusion

I read the HP books for first time the last year (only the first, third and fourth book, though. I quit the series after that volume) and I sort of had the same reaction. I already knew what the canon pairings were -so I had no prior emotional investment or bias-, and often I accept and even support the canon couples of a work, but they did not click with me, and honestly I thought that Rowling did not make a good work with those subplots. Nonetheless, I already explained my position in the HP thread and I am not interested in arguing a matter I do not care for, so I will tell no more about it

Honestly when I read Harry potter I kinda had a feeling Ginny would end up with Harry, even though I'd have preferred hermione. 

 

But I dont think rowling wanted to involve romance, most likely she added it to put a more sense of realism. she just didn't expand it properly lol
