She's like a female version of Naruto ...They even share the same obsession for Sasuke.

That's one of the reasons why the concept of SasuKarin intrigues me so much. It's like Sasuke is eternally linked to the Uzumaki, he just can't escape them.

I have to say, I was hoping for the reunion of Sasuke and Karin to be different, but now that I see the actual translation of his apology and the reason Karin reacted the way she did, I must say that it seems they actually remained in true character at that moment.

Well, not all of them are. Maybe what you see now are all of them or most of them. I don't ship it but wouldn't mind. I don't mind. If Kishi makes SasuKarin a Narutoverse GrayXJuvia, so be it. I can't ship hard but wouldn't mind. Otherwise, well, I'll think about it. Again, we don't know SasuKarin to make NaruSaku. It's just Kishi is making SasuKarin at least possible. Again, goes back to what I said above, but we should wait and see.

Well I don't ship Sasusaku for the reason you stated. I just don't think they would work out, and it would be a seriously "wtf" moment if Sasuke suddenly has feelings for Sakura because, personally, I've never seen it that way. And I've already said what I think about SK right now (basically, Karin's putting on an act, she hasn't exactly said she's forgiven Sasuke, and for one thing she's never taken Sasuke's bulls*** before and I don't think she's going to start now etc). And no I don't ship SasuKarin as a "side-ship", and you shouldn't worry so much if there are NS shippers that do because, honestly, people are allowed to ship whatever they want for whatever reason.

Yes, It can be used to SasuSaku too, That's why I never based my belief that this pairing shouldn't happen upon it. I have no doubt that Sakura will forgive Sasuke .. I just hope it's not the same way as Karin.

Me too, I do think that Kishi should have made this scene more carefully, since it's a delicate topic after all. But after seeing the actual translation, I'm more relieved now, seems like that Kishi wanted to make Sasuke sincerely apologize to her(as he did) but he couldn't spend too much time with it, that's why it seemed so rushed (the entire chapter was very rushed tbh) and also Kishi needed to make Karin join team Taka again since they're going to the battlefield now, he couldn't spend an entire chapter to it.

I wouldn't worry about that chapter too much. Sakura hasn't fan-girled Sasuke once in all of Part 2.

yeah,act that way would be very ooc to Sakura. I just hope that Kishi remain truthful to her character.

I already shared what I know about the sound effect, but today a member of the fc asked me about Karin’s line in this panel, and while mangapanda’s translation is accurate (“It… it can’t be helped”), I ended up coming across a really nice detail I already shared it in the FC, and figured it may not hurt to share it here, too, for the Karin fans who are angry at Kishi for her portrayal this past chapter.

What Karin says is, essentially, “Shikata ne na”, aka a speech variation of the usual ‘it can’t be helped’ (‘Shikata ga nai’ / ‘Shikata nai’). I assumed it was simply Karin’s usual rough pattern of speech, but look at this:

Also, if they are angry, they might also change the “nai” to “ne”. This sounds very tough and rugged to them. Usually only men say it. “Shikata ne.” Or even “Shikata ne na.”

Going by that, Karin was most likely meant to still sound pissed even as she was snuggling up to Sasuke, lol. Hence Sasuke’s face.

I... never cared about that. If that was the legit reason to go against the pairing in the manga then Naruto should've dumped Sasuke a long time ago. I like to joke about Sasuke's chidori of love , but I never use that in any of my arguments against the pairing.

I care more about the story telling of the relationships that develop. In that, NaruSaku is the most fitting pair to happen in the end. And I've already written my reasons for liking SasuKarin, it's not just simple side shipping to me. It further reinforces the parallels of Naruto and Sasuke from my perspective.

Also, did you check out the previous post about the raw translation of Sasuke's apology? It makes you see the event in a very different light.

the problem with her character is Sasuke and it's even worse because she has nowhere to go, she has nothing besides Sasuke, while suigetsu nd juugo also orbitates twards Sasuke she does not have a choice.
She's worse than hinata while she has the potential for development that does not include Naruto, she doesnt and her development is always related with Naruto, she does not have a development with her clan proof is that Neji's death didnt give development to her but to Naruto kinda weird.
She said "she was done with Sasuke" but it's put into a jail didnt Naruto or even Sakura prevented her from being locked up, i think the best that kishimoto could od would allowing Karin to join Konoha forces this would make her to stand by herself and not be forced to go to team taka, but no shows her on a jail adoring Sasuke's picture, Later we get Ino, and the asspull of her still having feelings for Sasuke, i'm more concerned is about Sakura and the plot itself.

Because different than Karin and Ino, Sakura knows that Naruto loves her then she has a "choice".

I was so angry back then and I didn't visit the website for a while... But now I feel courageous to write. First of all, this chapter was a total asspull. For Sasuke, it's the stupidest idea to make him a good boy and make Orochimaru and Karin stupid Sasutards! Karin's behavior was acceptable because she was a shameless fangirl with no pride. Sorry but there's no way that NH could be properly done, Kishimtoo already did a lot of mistakes with Hinata and when she shows signs that she changed being Naruto centered she goes back to the same place.

I've seen potential in SK in the previous arcs, like when he saved her in their battle with Bee. Or because he lets her do as she pleases and doesn't push her away like he does with Naruto and Sakura. Or because she can stand up to him. His smile even saved her. He threw the potential bond away in this chapter.

For my gender's sake, unless Karin is acting, I would be very much against it. ^^

I'm a girl too and I raged when I first read the chapter. As Tsubaki pointed out, the English translation is not very accurate. Plus I don't think that Karin will be satisfied with just plain "I'm sorry"... hohoho~

I still like Sasuke and support SasuKarin, go judge me.
