Well in Lee's IT dream he defeated both Naruto and Neji, so from that we can take Naruto was his rival as well. Though I'd rather believe his love was geniune for Sakura, if we do ever get an explaination why Lee moved on from her then I fear rivalry will be the reason.

The thing is Lee loved Sakura before Lee started some type of rivalry with Naruto. So, Naruto played no part in Lee's love for Sakura.

Sad but true fact.

Definitely. Hinata deserves some heat too for essentially ruining the story due to Studio Pierrot wanting her and Naruto to be together and thus destroying the story.

you're being way too technical. obito wanted to sacrifice himself and spend eternity with rin. that's exactly what he wanted in the end.

are you blaming tsunade for jiraiya's death? also, at least jiraiya didn't give up on tsunade despite her still being hung over dan. he may have not gotten a happy end, but at least he remained who he was till the very end, and died with a smile on his face.

yup, she sure did, and guess what? naruto still loved her, so what does that say about naruto loving someone as shallow as sakura? setting the bar pretty low if you ask me.

I'm being pragmatic. lol. Obito didn't even know if there will be anything. So enough about what he wanted afterlife.

Techniacaly she is to blame, but that's not the subject. That's another intresting thing, Obito too died with a smile on a face...

So literally, Jiraiya not only didn't succed in a love (even moving on), but he even was sent by his beloved one on that suicide mission (clearly, he could reject it, but that's not what Jiraiya was able to do as a man). So... that's picture him as someone who coudn't move on from his first love, and didn't god happy end.

Now that you saying it, Naruto's feelings was dismised to nothing, talking about sexism and picturing love, surely will not do even a little good thing in terms of boys in this manga, lol.

Lol. I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking about males that moved on?

Yep, canon-vise, now, Naruto never loved her (15 years of fillers, lol) and Lee stayed single (?) that means, not moved on.

I know that, but Naruto thought he was in love with Sakura for 699 chapters and then in the end it's written off as just being all because of a rivalry with Sasuke. So would it really surprise you at this point if they say that's the reason Lee liked her? I know it's illogical but so is everything else about this ending.

Naruto may be that. But Lee isn't. Lee's rival is Neji, not Sasuke or Naruto. His love for Sakura was the only really genuine one in that generation.
Lol. I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking about males that moved on?

He thinks abusing woman is cool. He thinks victims of murdered families should forgive the murdere. Wonder what else is there in his mind.

About Lee not really  he thought beating  Sasuke and later Naruto would get him Sakura's love . There is no genuine love in this manga anymore all is kitten and piss .

Honestly I'm afraid to find out  I kitten my pants just thinking of it  :wot: .  Oh yeah he also thinks neglecting your family is OK bc he's "working hard" so kids should just "endure" it they don't need attention and love so neglecting kids is perfectly fine  sbAbnKz.gif .

your argument about jiraya is faulty , jiraya himself went alone in that mission , those werent tsunade's wishes

Yeah I agree. Not to mention while he was on that mission he did have a chance to escape, but he didn't do it just so he could confirm Pain's identity. His death is all on him, but at least he died with a smile on his face and stayed true to himself throughout his life. He truly was and still is one of the best characters in this series.

What? Even more? That's > 9000

Apparently it's wrong now to dislike Hinata but support Sakura. I call out the misogyny in Naruto yet get accused of being a misogynist for disliking Hinata.  :zaru:

Because apparently women are supposed to support every non-fiction/fiction female in existence. Yep. That's how it works.

Happy ending within life or after life, it doesn't matter. In the 'end' that was depicted in the manga Obito was happy.

Jiraiya went to Pein on his own accord. Tsunade stopped him. But let's blame the woman because she wasn't stopping him 'enough'  :zaru:

With your logic, Naruto also got a happy ending. He got what he wanted since he loved Hinata all along. But I don't think you really believe that.

Eh... happy ending, after live is something that no one else apart of reader would see. Obito was happy? Okay. Died after ~15 years of suffering. And went into oblivion with a ghost of his beloved one, not really "definition" of "happy end".

Tsunade could stop him but didn't, that's a plot issue, but hey! Living 50 years and loving one women that didn't even once answeread it and dying on mission, can't in generaly considered as happy ending.

By canon, Naruto - idiot, and I doubt that even his "true luv" after genjutsu can be considered anything around that red herring we read about Naruto's feelings to Sakura for 15 years. But that's Kishimoto's writing.

your argument about jiraya is faulty , jiraya himself went alone in that mission , those werent tsunade's wishes
Jiraya's death should really only be blamed on him

Because that's not an argument? I'm not blaming Tsunade for sending him in there. Read my message again

What's the argument is "what he wanted"?

Sakura wanted Sasuke, so she got him.

Ino wanted Sai or Sasuke, she got Sai.

Double standards.

Ah... what's my point. Talking about "sexism" in Kishimoto's writing, and mentioning only girls feelings and their issues, doesn't do much good. If their feelings, became major or even whole object of their characters, on other hand - not even single men in a service got justice in this part of their character at all. That's all. Not trying to justify Obito's doings or blaming Tsunade.

You're not making any sense. Obito is not happy because only we readers could see? Huh? Obito's spirit was shown to live a happily ever after with Rin. I don't know how else you can twist that. Are you saying that only a physical manifestation of thy's self can be happy and not the spirit?

Jiraiya doesn't think Tsunade sent him on a suicide mission so you cannot talk about Jiraiya's feelings based on how YOU feel. Jiraiya loved her, and he thought it an honor to protect the woman he loves and her village. If he is happy with that, he is happy.

By canon, Naruto - idiot, and I doubt that even his "true luv" after genjutsu can be considered anything around that red herring we read about Naruto's feelings to Sakura for 15 years. But that's Kishimoto's writing.

I'll stick to the canon facts. And I don't consider the LAST as canon.

Aaand, so, I wanted to ask you a question, you read Sun-ken-rock, right? Did you read 3 spin-offs of it? Two are based before and at the same time, and one even based after end of Sun Ken Rock story!
