i think ns is well developed, too good that it need to put side line after kage summit arc.

I agree, to me it's developed to the point that one final push and it could easily be canon. It has so much development already.

Depending on how well developed NS is by the point at which it becomes canon, I will either retain my views or cease to exist within the Naruto fanbase.

I highly agree with this. I said long time ago that I would reread the manga to see if I'm seeing it right and/or miss anything. I did miss stuff. A whole lot of goodness from NS. I am going to reread still as a general fan, but make no mistake, I forgot some moments.

I've just watched Naruto: Road to Ninja movie from a cinema house (it's actually the first time they showed an anime movie here so I'm really excited and happy!) and seriously, if my friends weren't there to hold me back, I would've squealed in so much joy. When Sakura tried to drop a kick on Obito which created a crater... I was so sure the people inside were like 'woah!/ Sakura's surely strong' most especially added with incredible sound effects (that was at the first part of the movie XD)

And if anyone was asking about which pair outdid the other in that movie (NH vs NS)... seriously?! I think Hinata's there for comedic purposes only [perhaps all the AU!K9 characters). Or to show that Naruto and Sakura were really in an alternate universe. OR she's only there to remind Sakura that Naruto is hers so 'back off' haha. Naruto is always with Sakura in almost every scene! Anyone who didnt know much about Naruto would've really thought they were dating together or something.

I admit that Sakura was a bit mean at the first part of the movie, saying things about how much of a nagger her parents are or something, towards Naruto (that 'if Sasuke is here, he wouldn't blah blah') BUT as the movie goes on, you can really see how much her thinking changes. Then she became so affected and conscious of Naruto's feelings while they were there. She set aside her feelings of loneliness because she saw how much happy Naruto was, now that he was getting what he dreamed to have (be with the family). It really touched me.

Fought together... and she's ready to risk her life there for him ..

So much for Sakura being the selfish b*tch towards Naruto.

Both of them learned their lessons about family... those who cared so much for them... [and it's not only Sakura who acted mean in this movie. Naruto DID too. It probably because most people are considerate of Naruto and judgmental towards Sakura that's why they see her being the solely mean in the movie. The mind chooses what it wants to see, after all.]

And Kushina's personality? Seriously? Anyone who has watched the movie wouldn't deny the similarity between Sakura's and Kushina. haha. [like the hug, when Naruto thought she was going hit or scold him, she hugged him instead.]

One thing I didn't like though.

Uchiha Sasuke's personality there. Oh God. I've never imagined him to be like that, even in my wildest dreams. I lost the appetite to eat my popcorn because of that.

Oh... if there is other pair who can match up to NS in that movie... aside from the obvious MinaKushi, then probably... Itachi/Sakura. haha. seriously. half to 75 percent of his existence there was to hold Sakura back from jumping in to aid Naruto. He was holding her arm way too long. haha. Their fans would probably rejoice. JK.

I really liked how Sakura would act around Sasuke in part 2. Her classic SASUKE-KUN, seemed a lot less anoying and more mature. maybe its the dub, but we really see how much she matured.

That's true. Konoha people (Not Naruto, Sakura, Minato, and Kushina included) got reversed personalities, Akatsuki got reversed use of power (not for bad, but for good), and lastly, I believe the only real change of Minato and Kushina is that they are people first, ninja next. Their personalities are obviously the same, which is why Naruto doesn't feel confused about their character traits.

Very true. The same goes for manga itself. If NaruSaku won't happen/Naruto will suddenly fall for Hinata or Sasuke will start loving Sakura that would be odd too, right?

That's the thing, isn't it?

Sakura's growing affection for Naruto has been teased throughout the entire manga while others are simply waiting for Naruto and Sasuke to suddenly develop new found feelings for the girls that like them. It just doesn't come out as strong that way.
