Yeah, I was actually expecting a little more from her in the AU world.

Same here, they AU versions really got so much attention before the movie was out and then they weren't in it enough in my opinion. It's like it was just a big hype. I would have liked to see Naruto and Sakura see everyone normal again at the end.

Seeing that episode again and also Sai's explanation of Sakura's motives in episode 208 let's me know once again that the main reason Sakura acted during the Summit arc was all for the sake of Naruto's happiness.

It definitely wasn't because she loves Sasuke sooooo much as some people try to twist it. What Sai explains is that she loves Sasuke enough to be committed in killing him. Sai said what he did in order to counter Naruto's reasoning that Sakura's love for Sasuke would render her incapable of killing him. In the end Naruto was right, but that's besides the point.

The point is that all that she did during the Summit arc was because of Naruto, not Sasuke.

That means that you might not be a One Piece fan, you only need to watch Luffy and Shank's flashback, Nami, Choper, Vivi, Nico Robin, Sanji, etc. when you watch those character stories it makes your heart soft, when we are talking about deep emotional stories Oda will be a King in a 1 on 1 battle against Kishimoto.

Actually I am a huge One Piece fan, and yes that manga works on me emotionally. I really enjoy the ups and downs of One Piece, however I guess for me the reason Naruto hits me deeper is just because: 1. I want to see Naruto get stronger and succeed more than I desire to see Luffy succeed. Not that I don't want Luffy to succeed because I do. I just want more for Naruto to achieve his dreams. 2. Naruto suffers so much because of his lonely past, and his regrets for not being able to stop Sasuke, and of course the pain of not being able to fully love Sakura and her return the love. I see Naruto suffer so much in the manga, the anime, and this movie, I really just want to see Naruto happy.

Hence why I'm a Naruto fan and a NaruSaku fan.

One Piece rocks though, I'm in the process of re watching the series in the english dub : )

So am I the only one that thought the fight scene between Madara and Sakura was freaking awesome?? 20 times better and more meaningful than Hinata's fight against Pain. I love how it was all like slow motion and everything. Jeez I love this anime

Definitely at least Sakura managed to hold her ground unlike Hinata who got owned by Pain with one hit (I won't count the anime version since Pierot was glorifying Hinata's character to a maximum level).

True but Tobi was seriously weak at the end. All he did was come at them with a knife.... seriously after what we learned he could do that's kind of weak sauce. Especially when you compare that to Menma who not 10 minutes ago was schooling Naruto.

I think if he were to do the same to Sakura, it will negate Naruto being in genjutsu. At least that's how it seems like. Plus, Menma was in injured state already, so only thing Tobi needs to do is take Kyuubi out.

So a lot of NaruSaku theories started pouring in about how this movie is obvious evidence that they will become canon. I guess I missed it somewhere, because I simply didn’t see it. Their interactions were the same as they always are. Save for him saving her life, but if we’re being honest, he does that all the time in their world too. (Don’t get me started on the amount of times she needs to be saved, even though she supposedly got exceedingly stronger in shippuden. Like, come on, give me a break.) I wasn’t even remotely surprised when she got captured, she always gets captured.
Many people also swear on their lives that MinaKushi parallels are everywhere and then some. But I still stand by the idea that this parallel doesn’t even exist. Sakura is not a parallel of Kushina because Naruto is just like his mother. So in theory if this parallel was to be valid, he would need to meet someone more with a personality like Minato but I digress.

I'm just tired about those who stated that Naruto is only similar to his mother which it isn't absolutely true. Naruto got some physical appearances from his mother (like her face) and his father (like his eyes and his hairs) and some attitudes from his parents (he got from Kushina her gormless and from Minato his dream which was the same as that's Naruto, become Hokage in order that everyone in the village could acknowledge him)

Naruto is the result of his parents, not only a mere copy of his mother.
