If only he woke up during that Yamato scene...
Or we got a stupid Kamui dimension scene. I really thought something happened there.

Fair enough. I just want to see how they'd make up, though; it technically was their first fight.
I don't think there will be a make up at all. I think the two will just know about each other feelings more and we have NS. Of course, there can be a bit more of elaboration.

I saw in tumblr that the forehead scene could happen the opposite side Sakura kissing Naruto on the forehead meaning that Naruto has been discovered.

How can he? He is never conscious in those moments where Sakura shows affection.

True. Plus, I guess Naruto already got his closure with the moment, when Sai explained everything.

I'll always be there to catch you when you fall.

That, or he still wants to confess if he still got that in mind to do it.

What are you talking about, Kster? Sakura was tearfully elated to see Naruto recover back at the memorable Heaven and Earth bridge. It's not her fault that his naivete and tactless references to her "monster strength" caused the atmosphere to change back to casual.
I am not blaming anyone. I am simply saying he is usually always unconscious or simply doesnt see Sakura's affection towards him.

Today, just hearing about the fandom drama has literally given me a headache. I need to take a break.

Kishi wants NS at the very end XD

Hmm I'm really confused at this point

I would actually love this more than Naruto doing it to Sakura. It'd be the perfect callback. Not even the biggest haters of NS could deny how sweet that would be.

He will. The promise of a lifetime has been fulfilled, so there's nothing preventing him from confessing his love to her, now.

I don't think that just because he made that assumption about her, it means that they didn't talk AT ALL as little kids. After all, they were classmates, so I'm sure that he must have heard or seen something from her firsthand to make that assumption about her, to begin with. I think it's just that they simply interacted way too rarely, which still corroborates the fact that they hardly knew each other. Hell, I maintain that even after growing up and legitimately calling each other friends, they still aren't too involved in each other's personal lives.
Talking once or twice isn't proper NH interaction and if they had interacted in any possible way that could be considered as pairing development, he wouldn't have called her a weirdo that always looks away when he looks at her. If she doesn't do what he said in the flashbacks, it will indeed contradict the actual story, he said always after all. So we should assume they barely interacted, thus Naruto shouldn't even remember a conversation he had with her so many years ago.

Again, Sakura was still emotionally euphoric as Naruto was waking up. There are various other moments when Naruto should have picked up on the signs of a deeper meaning and responsibility that Sakura feels towards him. Why didn't he take notice of her gazing at him with blushing admiration and her heart tenderly held towards her heart back at the beginning of Part 2? It was as if just the sight of Naruto's maturity as a person gave her all the happiness and instinctual satisfaction she needed for the day.
There's several other moments throughout the manga that I could reference, but this one sticks out to me the most.
True. Still Naruto doesnt notice.

because he's not very smart, especially when it comes to a woman's mind. Either that or he was in denial if he noticed these things. Maybe to him it's hard to believe that she would actually return his feelings, since the focus has been him just wanting her to be happy whether it's with him or not.Again, Sakura was still emotionally euphoric as Naruto was waking up. It would be one of the few most important moments in the manga. I can imagine it XD

I'm not saying they had a proper interaction. I'm just saying that because they were classmates, they must have run into each other here and there, anyway, and whatever he saw from those encounters, which must have been rare, must have given him the impression that she's a weirdo. Even that flashback could've contributed to this judgment of her.
