Haha, so now im in denial because I said that narutos thank you to hinata in 615 was normal and not only that but he didnt even look her in the eyes and basically thanked neji as well, and narutos thank you was completely normal then im sorry but thats just wrong, since when did naruto thanking hinata and neji become naruto doing something special for HINATA when he thanked both hinata and neji..heck, the than you scene was mostly focused on naruto and neji since neji was basically the one who sacrificed himself.

Truth be told , the ''thank you '' was real , but NH fans are turning special because of the phrase '' you were by my side the whole time'' which makes no kittening sense since she was for that moment the whole time not his entire life .. Heck , I've seen posts/memes that say' '' See NS, Naruto thanks Hinata for stalking him '' , but that makes no sense at all .....

Someone translated it wrong i guess , so its misleading and if you are a hardcore NH fan shipper now that's a chapter for you .

But for me this chapter expressed two things :

- If Naruto and Hinata get together it would be so forced and underdeveloped that they will separate the next day , maybe after 5 minutes , because they don't know each other , altoought some say that they understand and recognize each other ''just by looking in his/her eyes'' or ''Hinata awoke him from despair and remind him of his parents '' see , twisting the cohesiveness could bring confusion .. Believe me Diana-chan , I've talked with a lot of them and they are making this wrong turns every time , saying even that 633 they will be together she will be his bridge  yada yada..


- All the lives are connected to Naruto's meaning that EVERYONE is ready to die protect him , her confession during the Pain arc is over hyped for shipping preferences , because we all know Sasuke did it first

@Canadian_DJ Naruto's thank you to Hinata was sincere, the problem is that all the NH fans exaggerated this moment beyond belief. They believe that this moment was a sign that Naruto loves her or that he will view her in a romantic light or whatever. When in reality it's just a sign of friendship, nothing more nothing less.

Am I the only one who does not see the "Thank you" as a big deal? 

He thanked her... so what? He thanked Neji is his mind as well, there wasn't anything specifically meant for Hinata in there. What drove people crazy was how the panel depicted the two of them holding hands and Naruto powering up Hinata like if they were going to use their "power of love" to fight against the Juubi.

 

But the Next Chapter came crushing anything pairing related, revealing it was just for chakra transfer purposes and Naruto did the same thing with another hundreds of shinobis. End of the story.

The thank you is a big deal because "you were always by my side" is still clinging in people's ears.

 

But I think someone here said it was a mistranslation and that he actually said "thank you for helping me". That makes more sense, because was not always by his side.

Looking at Manga Panda translation, he first had a flashback remembering everyone who died and left their dreams of peace for him to achieve. After that he says "My life is not only one" refering the ones who died believing in him.

"It is thanks to you that stayed at my side", looking at Hinata. But right in the next panel he thanks Neji for the same reason. Nothing just for Hinata in there.

 

It was a cute moment for Hinata, but saying he meant anything else just because of that is nothing but speculation. And given how 631 shows where Naruto clearly stands, 615 was mainly an event to conclude Hinata's vow of staying at Naruto's side holding his hands.

Just Hinata's character development , she wants to be noticed by Naruto

 

and wants Naruto to acknowledge her. thats what she got there , nothing Romantic or anything

If NH wants to be canon they need development similiar to ours

 

Which i highly doubt  they will have

 

Becuse our Development is the whole series

 

But their Development is very small

 

That means the whole Naruto series needs to be done from scratch if NH needs to have the most chances

 

Just 2 Hinata's moments nothing else Naruto still considers her a friend

 

And NH fans are hoping for more , but sadly Hinata should know that Naruto considers her a friend

There's another aspect of 615 that we didn't think about. Well probably those that were in the yellow or orange or red zone thought of but not sure. I didn't thought about it until now.

 

And it's the fact that Obito the guy who was basically in front of them didn't regard the encounter as romantic. Or he did but not something that would equal or parallel his love for Rin. Proof is the fact that when he struggled to release himself from Madara and the Juubi he was thinking of Rin.

 

So in a way even if Naruto and Hinata did get together in 615. It wasn't any Obirin.

Darkness, I don't find the "thank you" as a big deal either. In fact, I don't think it was made to be considered a "big deal" in the first place since it's only normal to thank someone after such a moment took place. So no, it wasn't a big deal in its entirety. However, it was a big deal to some specific members of the fandom, but that's another story .
