It honestly wouldn't reach the point the manga is right now even without the unnecessary recap episode. With only 21 episodes left of this season and given the pacing of this anime when depicting the manga's events, it would probably stop at the end of the Witch's Coven arc(where Asta's Anti-Magic Demon God mode makes its debut).

Bud when I was watching SS on TV some us didn't now what was a filler XD, though Asgard arc I liked a lot, but many do not.
So how you want they manage BC? I mean if they us just canon episodes they will reach the manga.
Should have done it like Boku no Hero break it in to parts. And besides they only are airing 51 episodes so they have don't have the excuse of it catching up to the manga anyway

My buddy J and I are doing a livestream discussion on the anime after a long while. Originally this was suppose to cover up to the latest dubbed episode, but knowing how long the stream would be, and how late it is over here. We decided to split into two parts. so this will continue off from where we left off up beginning with Episode 5 to Episode 14, and then the second livestream will cover episodes 15-30 on Monday, May 21st at 10:30 PM CST Time.

). I wonder what his new blade is capable of? Also, major kudos to my main girl Noelle for that rousing speech that got everyone energized to get their friends back. *This* is how you properly depict a female lead in a shonen.

But I am Asta X Noelle deprived for a while so I need to see a new moment or 2 later there was too much focus on Mimosa checking Asta out. 
But in all honesty, yes it is good to see Noelle take charge and NOT have Nozel insult and sass her for once. I jus want more Asta X Noelle because they are not a couple yet so every moment counts

I read the chapter and Nozel is begin to be humble and that is good for Noelle. Same thing I thought a lot Mimosa checking out Asta XD. Though was Noelle focus.

Considering that she is not only much older than Yuno and Asta (she's been their mother figure since they were little children), but she has made it vehemently clear that she isn't interested in reciprocating Asta's advances(if the water punch to the face didn't make that obvious enough back in Chapter 1), you guys are getting needlessly worked up over unsubstantiated possibilities again. This is Tabata once again giving some screen-time to develop minor characters that haven't appeared for a long time so as to avoid neglecting them(unlike a certain other author, who seemed to forget half of his characters or just didn't know how to make them relevant). Furthermore, Tabata already named Noelle as Asta's love interest back in the September interview featured on Reddit last year.
And Lily wouldn't leave her vocation when she has the other orphans to take care of, anyway.
The most Lily will probably do is note how both Yuno and Asta have grown since she last saw them, which will be humorously followed by Asta asking her out again, then getting nailed with another flat rejection(followed by another water punch to the face). There's no reason to assume that he'll be pulling a Kishimoto when, taking the entire manga into context, we've seen that he's done his best to avoid that.

Oh I know all that. But as Naruto has shown us no matter how good things are going for a story with shipping, always be prepared for the worst. If you don't, it will hurt all the more when you are sucker punched. I'm just mentally preparing my self for if it happens, even though it is more than most likely not. I could tell from the writing that Noelle is meant to be the actual love interest, it is just that Asta's denseness on Noelle's affection for him and being so detemined to marry sister Lily is a bit grating to read sometimes lol. not to mention Mimosa and Rebecca have also set their hearts on him. But anyway I know not every manga artist will pull Kishi's stunt, but after Naruto I am just prepared for the possibilities

well technically he just switched swords with Licht. He knocked that sword out of Licht's hands and Licht took the Demon dweller sword instead so now Asta can't fire external sources of mana anymore. I am curious to what this sword does though
