You know, I just realized one of the main reasons why this chapter was terrible.

 

Kishimoto's humor.

 

He thinks it funny to have a 12 year old girl more interested in losing weight, than taking an exam, that could change her life.

 

He thinks it's funny to have Boruto act just like his dad, when Naruto only acted like that, because he was a lonely hated orphan.

 

He thinks it's funny to show Chouchou get annoyed and pissed at her dad, for something as stupid as eating the wrong flavored chips, while in front of a girl who has never met her alive dad.

 

He thinks it's funny to have a woman, not even able to tell her child about her father, because the mother doesn't know anything about him.

 

He thinks it's funny that Sakura destroyed her house that she took out on a loan.( drawing those big comical white eyes, like he did when she saw Naruto's harem jutsu.)

 

Then to make it worse, he thinks it's funny to have Sakura faint on the spot, leaving a little girl to stare at her ruined home and have to worry about a woman, who she doubts is even her real mother.

 

Although, I don't care for these character, I can still point out when something is kitten up and right now, everything is.

If Sasuke has been gone for 12 years, and spent all that time away from Taka, how much time have he and Sakura really spent together? A month?

 

 

Bwahahaha. You could probably make a case for Sakura as Catelyn, too, since she has to raise her husband's child from another woman.

I could, but Catelyn HATED jon...Sakura doesn't. She's more like Ned in this scenario...an umarried ned.

Guess Naruto would be Robert Baratheon....Fits.

Of course it is. That's why I'm confused about all this sympathy for Salad. We KNOW it's going to have a happy ending.

lol, he got the Shadow Clones. Who cares about Hinata's feelings and needs anyways. I wanted her to get eaten by Great Whites the first time I saw her. I didn't know why then. But I know now.

 

Lol the first time I saw Hinata she kinda creeped me out.  She just had that dark shy weirdo thing going on.  You always have to be careful of the quiet ones.

Eh, just because she's in a Yukata doesn't equal married to me...also she forged a picture of her and Sasuke together for...12 years who the hell knows about those other pictures  (its a bit creepy tbh when you think about it.)

The best thing that could happen to Sakura at this moment

would be for her to die, if only to spare her a grain of dignity.

It seem like ninja salary is not enough.
Either because there are no job for ninja or sakura is a full time house wife.

But didn't ninja job like guild job in fairytail or in that final fantasy 12?

 

That's why she must have atleast a part time job at the Hospital or something, they moved into the house recently as well, their home shown in chapter 700 was different, that looked similar to the old apartment building Naruto used to live in, only not as run down, where this was a house, so it's very possible that Sakura had been saving for a deposit for a while and had moved into the new house recently.

 

I guess Sasuke could be sending money in, the house is (was) to nice to be bought by someone who doesn't work.

Actually looking at the first image, I think she must have a doctors clinic at the front, that entrance looks like a office space with the double doors and the arch.

Just thinking - It's sort of sad that Sakura is more like Naruto now than ever before. She's in doubt of being loved, and her daughter is cold and distant - questioning her mom if she's even married and then leaving her in the hospital. She's worried about things like home loans and laundry - she's not doing anything she worked so hard for, when the rest of the rookies shown so far are.

 

And compare Sakura to what you can imagine Hinata's life might be like? Hinata — happy, loved, no worries about money because she's the clan head, no children disrespecting her (Bolt's issue is with his dad) and questioning if their marriage is even real, and her daughter is probably angelic. So already, you can imagine that Sakura is being set up to be the polar opposite of Hinata's life, even if the whole story does revolve around Sasuke. Sakura's still being made the scapegoat. 

 

Just as she said - nothing surprises me anymore.

 

Do feel sorry for the SS fandom though. Now they know what it feels like. Bet they were hoping to bask in the glow of Sasuke's hidden affections. I can see the SK issue not being resolved until the very end. 

 

And you know, as much as it would be the ultimate blow off to Sakura to show Sarada as Karin's daughter, at this point it would be ridiculous if she wasn't Karin's daughter. Because if, at the end of the series, Sarada is shown as truly being Sakura and Sasuke's natural child, then that means Kishimoto did it again: He sacrificed a character just to pull a bait and switch with the plot. It would mean everything about Sarada was designed to make her look like Karin so the audience would be fooled. For Sakura's storyline, the upside of having a daughter would be thrown out so she could look like someone else. Sakura loses out because Kishimoto has dumped everything about her character in Sarada and replaced it with Karin. 

 

So I don't know which disgusts me more:

 

The fact that Sarada might be Karin's daughter, and therefore Sakura is left to loveless shell of a marriage, raising her husband's love child as her own?

 

Or that Sarada might be Sakura and Sasuke's natural child, in which case she was made to look like Karin just to fool the audience (so it's basically like SS is robbed of what their true child would have looked like because Kishimoto wanted to screw with the plot).
