Hell, I can understand why she did what she did, she was trying to spare naruto of his burden and was willing to sacrifice her happiness for him. It didn't work, but the fact that she was willing to be so selfless initially is one of the reasons I shipped this. 

I agree with you.
The problem is sakura confession get bad reception from fan in and outside of japan. Add Hinata popularity and you get nh.
By narrative it should be NS.

Ok why are we even arguing the logic explanation. You want explanation? Ok fine. Naruto does Kage Bunshin no Jutsu in the first 5 minutes of the movie as a kid before chapter 1, and because of that the movie already acknowledge that it don't give a kitten about logic because they can't do kitten right! THATS IT!!!

I know, but why to naruto? Why should his feelings be changed when this whole thing about him, and not hinata? It would have made more sense for sakura to finally fall for him. YOU CAN FALL IN LOVE MORE THAN ONCE, and sakura had plenty of reasons to move on

HxH is surely had this to Kishimoto to.

 A lot of people don't know this but Naruto is literally a broke man's version of HxH. From the Eye clans, to the creepy villains, right down to the revenge scheme. Except HxH is amazingly written, and white Naruto is too, HxH never lost it's flare. The only issue is Togashi himself. Man loves hiatus more than he loves making money. 

 

Of all the things to rewrite in the series, why couldn't it have been sakura's love sasuke? I mean, I heard what he said in the interview, about changing affections immediately would make her seem bad, but couldn't have started shifting her feelings after sasuke tried to kill her? You know, like the rational girl she was?

This. ^ Or, how about changing Sasuke himself into actually respecting the girl and everything she's achieved so far. I was expecting this when I shipped SS. Never happened.

All I know is Orochimaru is a kitten choice to be the villain in part 3 or the movie. He is one of the legendary sannin and was strong enough to kill the Third Hokage, granted he lost his jutsu abilities but he still killed him, and he was able to do extreme damage to the village. I don't see how Burrito would even be a threat to him.

I always liked Iruka and it really sucks that he got less and less relevant as the story went on. He's Naruto's first real bond (not Hinata-sama ) and his role in this canon movie is simply a genjutsu scene where he does nothing but give the stupidest assignment ever, for a class supposedly for ninjas. Seriously why would ninjas need to know who they would want to spend their last day on earth with?

The thing is how can he ask that when there are orphans and  lonely kids that no one likes them like Naruto

They are just kids at the beginning  of their academy days  you can't expect for all of them to act as buddies or to be shown that they all know eachother well  they are all shown together and that's enough . I'm not aware of Kurenai being a teacher before that so I'll take your word for it .  But here is the thing  this works for my statement  bc they are all shown under Iruka's  guidance  so they are under him since the beginning no other teacher is shown .  

Well it just my guess.
Until kishi explain that if ninja academy has multiple class or not, I will believe in that.

Seeing what this terrible creator has done so far, would you really be surprised if he ruined Orochimaru for the sake of soft taco boy? I wouldn't be.

It's amazing how many people can't understand this. It's the same way with stuff from the Harry Potter movies that isn't found in the books.

 

Naruto and Sakura are disgraces to all hero/heroines. I'm actually ashamed that they appeared on the same magazine covers as Luffy and Nami, Ichigo and Rukia/Orihime (take your pick there) and others. How disgusting.

 

 

In the end, we'll have to move forward with everything given to us. Just because what was given to us is canon, doesn't mean I have to like it. I can be a fan of a non canon pairing. I'm a fan of harryxhermione, taixsora, bulmaxyamcha, simonxyoko, senaxkodaka, negixasuna, and harimaxyakumo.

 

What hurts about this movie though is it makes it seem like sakura was using naruto, even though she was willing to move past sasuke if not for naruto restoring her faith in sasuke and how she was willing to save sasuke herself if it meant sparing naruto, as well as wanting to really support naruto. Naruto loved sakura out of a rivalry, even though that's a completely stupid/unbelievable reason to like someone, I mean, wouldn't that mean he'd like other girls who liked sasuke, plus how does chasing a girl who is chasing sasuke feed into a rivalry? wouldn't it make more sense to like someone that sasuke liked? Doy!!!!

Also, considering this girl is the one who saved him from his loneliness, actually believed in him, constantly took care of him, was willing to sacrifice her hopes for him, risked her life for him, and how they both made each other happy, would it be so hard to see him falling for her?

 

It makes it seem like hinata was naruto's first friend, even though he's never mentioned it. Also, what sense does it make to fall for someone just because they loved you first? That's a very weeeeeeaaaaaaaakkkkkk reason to fall for someone. Also, from a story telling angle, naruto's shift in feelings is very forced. I could have understood him falling for hinata towards the end of the movie if they went through some stuff together, but no. from what I've heard, the movie starts with him falling for hinata. There is nothing given outside of a genjutsu showing her devotion early in the movie that shifts his feelings. That's very lazy. Besides, this coupled with having to kill neji to make it work, I can't say I support it.

 

Just because its canon, doesn't mean its good.

 

Exactly. I can still ship HarryxHermione (even though I don't mind HG either) because the final pairings don't destroy the integrity of the characters. We can debate whether or not RonxHermione really works as a functional couple, but the characters aren't retconned and destroyed in the process of making the end pairings.

Yeah...that was a real ignorant thing of him to do. I know Iruka didn't really like Naruto that much at first, but I don't think Iruka would do something like that to directly antagonize him. Man he was already ruined in chapter 700 and now we have him being ruined in the movie via a genjutsu scene.

How do I know? Maybe because Sasuke is way popular then Naruto, maybe because Hinata's breasts just that good, many reasons, but no fair in terms of story.

But HxH has a lot worst art in it, but it's surely better story overall, but not deep enough. And maybe Kishimoto took this "redemption" theme from Meruem, that was dumb as kitten, creature that killed thousands of people, feels love and "understands" human's and dying in hands of beloved
