I wish I was capable of feeling emotional about this.

Oddly enough the way I know when I really care about something is when it means so much to me that my brain blocks out the sadness so I don't have a moment of weakness. I feel the lingering feeling of sorrow and how deep this cut is but more than anything I feel numb, as if this never even happened and it was a casual day like any other. No matter how much I think Naruto as a series has tanked I've still been following it the majority of my life.

 

Since most of us agree that Kishimoto sold out I'm just going to say this:

We were not given the true ending in these last chapters. This was something done by Kishimoto for the sake of business and it should be viewed as such. Maybe this was the correct financial decision for him and honestly with how much work he has put into this series over the years and how much it has cost him I think he deserves some rest.

Kishimoto, even though you will never see this: Truly, from the bottom of my heart, with every ounce of sincerity I can muster, I forgive you.

oh, you have a point here. true, after all this ended, I feel.. kinda free. no doubt, all this manga made him pretty stressful too. Let him be

If I had known this was supposed to be a sh*tty redemption story about a guy named sasuke then maybe I could buy it. What that man did to his story and every one of his characters, not including sasuke was just horrible. Absolutely horrible.

I'm going to assume that it was a combination of things like editorial pressure, influence from Pierrot, a limited window of time to set all the priorities in order, and finally he submitted to the wishes of the vocal NH/SS majority. 

 

This all feels too serene to be real. I grew up with Naruto as well, and to compare what we just read with the best arcs and plotlines of the early parts, you would assume that this was a spin-off or perhaps even its own unique series. I can't take anything that Kishi says or does seriously anymore. 

 

Can i say that its possible that kishi himself put into a corner with his pairings? He mentioned he never had an intended pair from the start? and he only added a love interest just to sympathize with the character. Not only that but i kishi did wanted ns at one point that was until he hinata a little to much screentime. This is were the critique came in about hinata being a herione and main love interest. Kishi said no to all that so he made sakuras confession to prove that wrong only for that to backfire when he had sakura lie to naruto about some parts of the confesssion. Therefore is cause to more confusion and most importantly kishi's infamous promise that sakura will act more herione like in the future which sadly never happened....as for sakura ever loving naruto i guess kishi gave up on that when rtn was made. He did mention a interview that he wanted to put stuff on the manga that he couldn't. retrospective wise when i like back at it now it makes sense that when kishi said he  wanted to put stuff on the manga that he couldn't he meant EVERYTHING including making ns canon. I guess he wanted to bid a last farewell for that pair.

It's fun how Naruto and Hinata didint even talk to each other in the last 2 chapters. Isin't it because they have nothing to say without making it ankward ? They just suddendly have babies, yeah good love story
