why are people predicting that Sakura is gonna stop the final blow either by hugging Sasuke from behind or holding his hand and her speech to Sasuke is gonna redeem him? have they not realized that she has no influence on him at all?

 

the way this is going, it really does look like a set up for the ova:

 

- people are predicting that Naruto will have a shadow clone hidden somewhere to protect him..ok? and then what will happen? don't they both need to be doing the rat seals? so what will happen after that since they're both exhausted? is Sasuke supposed to  fall on his ass and give up and then do the rat seal and magically become good?

 

- the Sakura moment paralleled to the foD where she hugs Sasuke to stop and pleads for him to - ......693? like I said earlier she has 0 influence on him, nothing she says or does will work or makehim magically love her and stop (god I hate this prediction so much..)

 

- Sakura will step in and punch him - alright...but then what? will she force him to do the rat seal or something?

 

- Sakura and Kakashi moment paralled to the Tsuyu and Shu conversation and then the OVA scene - possibility...I could see it starting off with those 2 and then them finding Naruto and Sasuke no where to be found

 

- Naruto will block Sasuke's chidori attack using his own arm (bandaged one in "The Last) - slight possibility...maybe..but they still need to be doing the rat seals so...what happens after that? they're both weakened too so I doubt they'll fight some more..unless Naruto uses Ninja art:Jesus conversion talk no jutsu on him and then he sighs and gives up and does the rat seal leading Naruto into doing it too to free everyone..and then either:

 

1 - Sasuke sticks around and Sakura and Kakashi arrives and Sakura is relieved to see that Sasuke has some goodness in his heart after all and that Naruto actually got through to him

2- Sasuke wanders off, and Naruto collapses due to being weakened, unable to stop him from leaving. Then enter Sakura and Kakashi for the OVA scene?

 

*This could also go for the clone theory...clone getting Sasuke off guard > leading to motivational talk no jutsu > the rest of what I just said

 

There are so many possibilities that I'm thinking about for how this could all play out >.<maybe I'm thinking a bit too much?

@TsukiChan I didn't want to say it but i also have a hard time believing Sakura will interfere before the end of the fight (yes, it would be magnificent if she smashed Sasuke's face to bits but oh well). So yeah like you said Naruto will somehow survive the blow get to change sasuke's ways and win... the ova possibility i see it like this: sasuke will change is mindset but naruto will be more hurt after the outcome, release of IT, then sasuke departs, leaving naruto on his sorry ass lying on the floor, sakura (and kakashi) appears and insert ova scene. (what i find stupid about the ova is that, can't she like, check is heart beat?)

Tsuyu and Shu? they're the characters from the book jiraiya made that Minato and Kushina read, and it's also the book that they got Naruto's name from..the Naruto in that book and Naruto go through similar things c: and there's a conversation where Tsuyu cries to her sensei Shu about Renge (Sasuke's parallel) destroying their village. Renge (I hope I'm spelling his name right) used to be a part of Tsuyu, Shu and Naruto's team but he, like Sasuke, left their village and wanted to destroy it and Tsuyu was in love with him, but in the end she realizes that the person she truly loved was Naruto and she goes to help him stop Renge

No I think he said she will come and heal him ..of course naruto doesnt wants sasuke to die ,but sasuke will obviously be majorly injured after naruto delivers the final blow.if not in a coma
I sometimes like to watch his reviews bcuz he is funny but sometimes when he says things like this,i try either to tolerate or think if that kitten is possible

Of course it will turn out that naruto will have the upper hand but he will spare sasuke. That's what this fight will be about^^ when sakura and kakashi will arrive sakura will see them both damaged, powerless but doing the reconciliation seal :) at least that's how I predict it.
Imo Sawyer's prediction doesn't fit to the intended message of the fight and story.

The battle will end with Naruto and Sasuke running to each other with chidori and rasengan mark my words its how all of their clashes end  this is foreshadowed to much after they clash they will both be sent flying of by the force of the attacks and be deadly wounded this is where OVA scene comes in and Sakura choses Naruto bc her heart tells her to   , also this has to happen for one final TNJ so far in that white space Sasuke was doing most of the talking explaining his goal while Naruto only listened  so a second TNJ in that white space is coming  .

 

 Naruto will probably pull a KB that was hidden like in his final confrontation against Pain  and it will also parallel the Mada/Hashi fight , and Sasuke has to accept Naruto as equal or better then him  this is what their rivalry is all about and Naruto's desire much like the Ino vs Sakura fight  .

It just seemed to me the way Kishimoto sensei was writing the story was one where the two characters would switch positions.

 

Sasuke started out the cool guy who everyone loved and looked up to, and who the heroine liked.

Naruto the uncool guy no one liked and no one looked up to, and the heroine hated.

 

But over time their positons switched as Naruto grew more liked and trusted and sakuras feeling grew with them for him.

 

Sasuke got more distant less trusted sakuras feelings changed.

 

In the end I think Sasuke will be the one who needs to rebuild relationships and trust, Karin is a prime part of that, along with Taka. A team he has to basically start fresh with and build bridges too.

Very good point  I agree Sasuke will be the outcast now with only Taka to support him while Naruto will have all the support from villages and his friends . I want to see Naruto drink that sake with Gaara already as Kages that's the only bromance I acknowledge in this manga .

Since they claim NH makes the most logical choice of pairings as opposed to NaruSaku, which they think Sakura only cares about Sasuke. I remember asking one of them why they ship NaruHina and what logical "manga" evidence they have for shipping them. 

 

 

The answer they gave was Naruto and Hinata just look good together, and as for the evidence Hinata telling Naruto I love you during the pain arc plus speech from hinata leading into the handholding scene. 

 

My response was: You do realize that speech is a reiteration of her speech during the pain arc, and handholding scene was forced.

 

He then argued, NO it was foreshadowed  a long time ago, the hints are there.

Well.. umm Hinata's dream sequence during infinite Tsukiyomi, and....

@NarutoFireFoxUzumaki Yeah i expect that, rasegan-chidori clash is very likely and the white space thingy i think is near obvious that it will happen. But i like that thing about sakura choosing one (i honestly was expecting to be Naruto only in the battlefield when she arrives), because that happening may cause her to rethink her feelings or smothing XD

Sasukr has the bijuus and their chakra in turn....so....he doesn't need Naruto

Yeah I thought that Sasuke doesn't need Naruto only his chakra  , WTH is this "Rat" seal anyway ?

 

Most of the theories come from that flashback  and think that they will release the IT by finally doing that sign for Shinobis or whatever .

Very symbolic this chapter, Sakura seems to wake up at key times, and in her genjutsu can be seen as Naruto and Sasuke are forced by Iruka to make peace in ninja mode ...

that is tremendously symbolic, Sakura probably bring peace to them both she is the smartest member of the team, and loves them both, makes sense.

but it would be great if there is a NS cute time, however I do not like to wait this, I'd rather Kishi to surprise us, the main plot, the POAL and all NS development in the manga deserves it, either in next chapter or in the following it is a leap of faith in manga.

I'm wondering how the OVA is going to play out in the manga. Isn't Sasuke still evil at the end of it? We already know he has to turn, because there's no other way to release everyone from the IT. It has to end differently from the OVA in some areas.

 

I thought Sakura was just dreaming? If those flashbacks really were her in the genjutsu, why show that to Sakura after stabbing her?

Well going by the OVA they are both injured and we see Naruto what appears to be dead also it would go against Naruto's character and everything that he has accomplished if Sasuke wins here again so that's a no no . 

 

 

Maybe Sakura already realized her feelings in the Genjutsu we only see a part of what she was dreaming and strangely it ends with her seeing Naruto from his POV from the S/N conflict  her reaction is pretty much telling in here like something hit her about Naruto . I believe she will have figure it all out on her way to Naruto but we will see .

That clash was only an introduction for their fight but not the ending  so I believe there will be one more where its stated that Naruto is the winner or acknowledged by Sasuke finally this needs to happen   its a rivalry thing . Also don't forget who Naruto is No1 unpredictable Ninja he always has a Ace in his sleeve having no chakra and going against the odds never stooped him before  its who he is that's what makes him appealing as a hero .
