Certainly my confirm didn't kill NS changes. It's just Kishimoto insists again, after so many chapters, to keep up the love triangle.
It's no longer a question of "Sakura still loves Sasuke" but how, just a few chapters from the end (and the final movie?), Kishimoto still gets messed up with romance. In whatever way NS could be happened, the all story won't be particularly well seen by the majority of readers. NS fans included.
But I already knew this in the bottom of my head, shounen mangas (especially from WSJ) have never had love stories well developed.
You know it's not all that messed up... Psychology is weird like that. There are plenty of times people fool themselves into thinking they love someone and will be with them despite abuse...
