I'm laughing when I think about the fact where these fights take place. In the manga, the fights took place in the basement of Kanou's mansion, but here it's in Cochlea. How convenient to have all groups coming together in here XD

Not surprisingly, Kaneki is still good, but he better have a good motif for joining Aogiri Tre :/

Imao, I wathed the episode on a computer in the library. The computers in there are always slow, so I couldn't tell right away how bad it is XD

Ok, just watched the new episode...

First, I despise Juuzo's voice. It's actually terrible.

Why are they attacking the prison again? They already did that once at the end of season one. It doesn't make sense for them to go back.

Second, the animation for the fights was so bad. How are you supposed to be selling that these are high speed fights, when everyone was moving slow? Amon was swinging his quinque around like they weighed 1000 pounds. There would be random little pauses during the fights, and when someone completed an action and transitioned to doing something else. The Shachi fight was terrible. So much better in the manga. The only time the animation was good was when he sent Kaneki flying through 8 walls. Why did parts of Kaneki's Kakuja look purple?

SP sucks. I hope someone else picks it up.

The reason why they are attacking the prison is to free Shachi. That was also the main objective in the manga. Did they attack the prison in the anime? I can't remember...

What I thought was laughable is that Kaneki is supposed to free Shachi, not fight him. I understand that he had to defend himself, but still... It was illogical to me.

So, it seems that my crack theory about Hide being the grandson of Washuu might actually be true after all?

"I think there’s a chance that Hideyoshi Nagachika is really Hideyoshi Washuu, the second-born son of Yokittenoki Washuu and heir to the Washuu clan.

Why? Because Matsuri’s name doesn’t follow the naming pattern of the Washuu family heads (all their names contain the “吉” kanji which is read as “yoshi/kichi”), so I think he isn’t (or at least was not meant to be) Yokittenoki Washuu’s successor. He might be Yokittenoki’s illegitimate child, which would explain why he doesn’t get along with his father and why he’s all about the supremacy of the Washuu clan. If Matsuri really isn’t Yokittenoki’s heir, then Yokittenoki Washuu should have a second son whose name follows the naming pattern. And in fact, Hide’s given name would fit, it’s just written with the wrong kanjis. (But if you want to hide your identity, then you at least have to change the way your name is written, right? Ghouls do this all the time after they have been exposed.)

Furthermore, Hide’s given name would even follow a second pattern in the names of the family heads: The position of the “yoshi/kichi” kanji seems to alternate between the generations. If it’s the first kanji in the father’s name, then it’s the last kanji in the son’s name, and vice versa:

Daikichi Washuu
Yoshiu Washuu
Tsuneyoshi Washuu
Yoshitoki Washuu
and the next one in line would be
Hideyoshi Washuu

Additionally, Ishida reveals Hide’s full given name for the first time immediately after he introduced Yokittenoki and Tsuneyoshi Washuu.”
