The first move from whoever will get me chills. I just predicted my head on something...negative. But if I say it, it will happen. Lol. I don't know, but this is actually getting me the same chills as 616, because one move that I thought it was going, and it will be all over. Luckily, it didn't but man, this one somewhat got the same and I will explain when the time is right. That said I should just finish up The Walking Dead (telltale). Get two greatness in one night...

What I want to see with chapter 648:

 

On the non-pairing side of things:

 

Sakura saving Shikamaru for a big heroine moment

Shikamaru living and coming back from the brink, we don't need another good character to die (though it would be more merited than Neji who was almost thrown to the side)

Sakura and Tsuande team up (maybe even with Hashirama, a generations team up would be awesome, even tsunade can save shikamaru)

The kage help face the tree, same with the rest of taka.

A major assault from the remaining ninja with Kurama's power.

Naruto with sage+tailed beast mode and Sasuke with Sussano getting natural energy infused with Jugo's help, to fight obito

Kakashi return.

 

On the NS side of things:

I hope we see more of the impacts from his heart on Sakura, possibly some revelation to her that makes her happy. Possibly further ahead, maybe later on another deal of Minato's input.

I don't know about you guys, but I believe there is a lot of chances that Sakura may die.

I mean, look at this page:

She thinks "again" about not dying in vain.

This page maybe foreshadows Sakura's death, and her death can mean a lot of things.

 

- Playing a big role into Obito's mind (Rin parallel)

- Confirming her feelings for Naruto

- Naruto making his confession

 

Everything is possible, and I really hope it happens like this.

Of course, Obito will revive her with Rinnetensei after he'll become good again.

No, no Sakura won't die.  Not permanantly, I don't think Naruto would be allowed to fail in protecting Sakura, I don't think Kishimoto will allow his heroine to be killable.

I agree that everything is possible, but this page hasn't in anyway foreshadowed Sakura's death.

 

This page just showed how Obito is attacking the alliance on a psychological level, and not just physically. The panel depicting Sakura shows how strongly he is trying to prove Naruto wrong. Not only he is killing his comrades, but he is also taking away their right to die in an honorable way. That's what Sakura is saying, it is as if they were going to die without even having a chance to fight back. This completely disregards the speech she gave before while healing Naruto, as you can notice by seeing all the fodder shinobi who are starting to question themselves.   

 

But this doesn't mean she is going to die. I believe she will be in real danger the moment Obito realizes she is Naruto's "Rin". There perhaps Obito might try to use her as a last resort in order to prove his resolve to Naruto.

I still don't see how they'll be able to cut down the God Tree since it looks mighty sturdy, but maybe they'll find someway to cut it down or maybe Naruto could do it in sage mode by himself with a rasenshuriken?

Sasuke cut through the tree with his Susanno due to jugo inputting natural energy into it. Naruto can cut it with sage mode. Only natural energy or chakra can harm the tree in essence only naruto can along with jugo but jugo isn't strong enough so he is working with Sasuke.

Well, I still think Naruto could do it better since he has natural energy and Sasuke has to borrow power. Naruto has to reach down a little further and awake super sage mode, and he'll be able to cut down that tree.

Well, I believe Hashirama did say that you can take it down (not likely) or take down the user (most likely). I for one think that's how they will defeat it by defeating Obito. I sense TnJ.

Well, I don't think Juugo did that just yet because Tobirama did cut some as well as Madara. To attack the tree, you just have to be strong to cut it down. Most likely it's endless, but they have to do something. So yeah, Sasuke and Juugo didn't co-op yet, but I expect something soon. Hm, now he's in Team Taka mode. Funny.

i think its hashi. i think from the several kanji hes motivating the alliance 'again i see word characters like "setbacks".. "worries".. and something like "we are shinobis".. "our dreams...
