I'm betting that this power-up Sakura has is going to be the Slug Sage Mode. And if the past speculation is anything to go by, Hashi's Sage Mode might be said Slug Sage Mode. Which would be a nice thematic thing, Two Slug Sage Modes and Two Kyubi Chakra Modes (or whatever it is that Minato did to make his body glow with chakra).

OMG, yes, that'd be so cool! And Hashirama seeing and praising her.
That'd be so badass!

Slextrem, look at it this way, Sakura had a speech, a parallel confirmation, and even revealed she had an additional power she trained for all along, and none of this is technically part of her "biggest moment" I mean she still has a fight to take part in, just imagine that when the anime should arrive here next year, just imagine how great it will be. Far as I am concerned, we have a safe haven so far beyond 615 for now.

Can I ask something and I really want an honest answer out of this one.

When can we really finally say "This is canon" and not be told to "Not think that way." I just want to draw the line here cause it seems like even if it is 100% confirmed we still shouldn't say "confirmed."

Nothing for Nothing, but what would be the moment that cements it without question?

When it definitively gets canon i think that there a lot of people like me that doesnt want to get trolled.

Well, if I can add my two cents here...

I believe that NS will become canon when the majority of the characters in the manga accept it and witness it.

To take the very Naruto as example: Asuma and Kurenai didn't admit that they were a couple. It wasn't until it was announced that Kurenai was pregnant that many of the characters confirmed that they were actually a couple.

And such, the two requisites I need to make a pairing officially canon are:

1-Both to have spoken about their feeling and decided to become a couple (or something close)

and

2-Having the other characters in the manga admit that they are officially a couple.

That's what I believe will give the final approval.

Don't forget about the two Sharingan users; albeit one is the enemy of the other. If it is Slug Sage Mode then I am curious to see what exclusive benefits that it will entail. With Frog Sage mode enhanced physical strength, durability, and Frog Katas appeared to be the unique qualities associated it whereas the snake variant emphasized perceptual/sensory awareness and technique usage relating to the natural environment around the user. I'm assuming that Slug Sage Mode would centre on regenerative and sealing abilities since those are two of Hashirama's areas of expertise which he has been consistently been focusing on since he began using what appears to be an SM.

Thing is, it HAS to be Byakugō or else she would be restricted from the front lines by Tsunade. Having Byakugō means she already can access the Yin Seal and Sōzō Saisei (Creation Rebirth - used against Orichmaru and Kagato) If she ALSO had Sage mode then....she's a Kage level nin.

But Sage Mode is even more powerful than Byakugo, I think that fourth rule of medical ninjahood can apply to that as well.

*Gasp*..... Okay, now that is all settle, let me tell all you NS fans of this wonderful day I am having. I wake up at 5:30 in the morning, preparing myself for my last day of high school. Since I remembered that today was Wednesday, I thought to myself, "Hey, the new Naruto chapters out today! I wonder what Minato is going to say to Naruto and Sakura?" So I first went to Mangapanda to see if the chapter is up. No chapter. "That's odd", I pondered, "the translators always post the new chapters around this time in the morning so what's going on?" I then went on to Heaven and Earth to see any news about the chapter, and found the 631 spoilers thread. "Ok," I thought again, "They have spoilers but no chapter." I clicked on the thread, and to my surprise, I see an explosion of ecstaticism loading up on my page. I'm reading things such as "NS is cannon!", "Minato asking Sakura if she was Naruto's girlfriend", and "Yondaime seal of approval". After reading this bombardment of ecstasy I was like, "Woah man! Is this how the chapter's going to be or am I being trolled?" Following my mini-adventure on the forums, I then took another gander at mangapanda to see if the chapter was up yet. It was! But I didn't have time to read it all because I had to go to school. After I was dropped off, I immediately went to the library to read the chapter on one of the computers. Unfortunately, all the computers were filled, but I came prepared! I had my phone with me ( with 30% power left) and read the chapter off the school's wireless network. As I begun the chapter, I was in awe with Minato's epic introduction to the alliance. When Minato introduced himself with "My name is Minato Namikaze. You better get read for the blast" combined with the shock-wave emitted from the Juubi's Bijudama almost made me scream "MINATO STAHP, YOUR EPICNESS IS MAKING MY HEAD EXPLODE!" As I continued reading, I was bombarded with so much win, I didn't know how to react. First it was the double confirmation of the Sakura/Kushina parallel and Naruto's current feelings towards Sakura. Loved that moment! It was cute and I loved Minato's reaction! Next came the hokages' arrival and after seeing this:

I busted a gut from laughing so hard. Then I saw Minato go kyubi/super saiyan mode.... this is my reaction to this transformation:

Then Sauske shows up and basically says, "Hey guys, even though I've been a total kitten to you all for a while now. You should all be rest assured that I am not going to kill you but become your leader because I need to make some changes to the village so crap like this won't happen again. Don't bother opposing me because 1. I don't care and 2. We all know that I can easily kick all of your a**es for the title. While everyone reacted like , I was like

Then Sakura stand's her ground as the heroine, and we get The next gen Sannin. It has been awhile since a Naruto chapter has made me feel so ecstatic and wanting for more! Thank you Kishimoto, for making my last day as a high school student as one of the best days I've had in a while.

Yes...and I do think it would be awesome and I would love to see it and I'm a huuuuuuuge Sakura fan...

But that would be the asspull to end all asspulling in the history of asspulls. If she had the Seal and Rebirth and Bykugo and Sage Mode.

I'm cool with it though if Kishi does it. She honestly deserves it for all the kitten she's had to eat in the past 6 years of the manga.

Side Note: So if she has Strength of a Hundred up IN Sage Mode with a Kyuubi Cloak with her Taijutsu????!!!!!!

Brain = Explode. She would literally be immortal. Like she wouldn't take damage. At all.

Let me give you and example: In Love Hina, we could see ever since volume 4-5 (even earlier) that Keitaro and Naru liked each other. Despite all the evidence, I couldn't say that KeiNaru was canon because of these two points that i presented to you. It wasn't until much later in the manga that these two points were shown and that I could safely say that KN was canon.

Yes, the author is showing us this amazing chapter, but there literally anything he can do with it. Heck, he could even troll us once more if he wants to. So in the end, what we have are theories. Strong theories? Yes! But they are still theories. They have to become "law" before admitting that something will occur 100%.

I loved the fact that she will do all this without any other power-ups from Naruto like some others.
Also, Byakugo is a biit of a better version in terms of healing because you don't stay all that time to gather energy, you are just continuously gathering via the Yin Seal so in this term, Tsunade has surpassed Hashirama.

Come to think of it, when Fukasaku said that he wanted to teach Naruto Sage Mode, we never really got any indication that Sakura was unaware of the technique in question at the time. She didn't say something along the lines of "Sage Mode? What is that?" if my memory is correct on this account.

Loved Love Hina, just a great series, plus Naru was a dime. Still I have to agree, no matter how likely a pairing is nothing is canon until it's shown on the paper. Kishi could very well have Sakura run back to Sasuke or Naruto decide that Hinata is a better choice than Sakura, although these are unlikely. This chapter was a big victory for sure, but the story is far from over.

Lets say it this way: Kishimoto made huge development with NS throughout the whole story, he showed kushinas last words to naruto to find a girl like her. Minato says that sakura is that girl. Now im asking myself, what was the reason of all that if hes not making it canon. Its true that he could do anything with it. He could just forget it and act like it never happend, but that makes out my next question: why should he do something like that or said differnetly how likely is it for him to riun his story? You can say NS is officially canon as soon as they are a couple in the manga, but i say its now canon because i see no chance or possible reason for kishi to forget the development he added in this story and complety damage it.
