Didn't historia and Ymir are basically canon and I don't see how eren would end up with historia, even if they married it's only for royalty sake.
Eren mikasa is pretty much the go to pairing, chance wise.

That was only stated by the producer of the anime,  Hajime Isayama has never officially come out and say they are lovers. Now as far as Eren and Historia are concerned you have to look at their moments throughout the uprising arc.. It may not seem like much, but reading between the lines and also facial expressions are important too.. there are very subtle hints that indicate the Eren x Historia ship.    

 

Eren's never really been one who sees Mikasa in a romantic light though.. I mean sure Mikasa might, but there is an interview Hajime Isayama came out with giving his thoughts on the matter regarding Eren's viewpoint on Mikasa, but also how much of an impact Historia has had on him as a character from the uprising arc. That's mainly it.

As for me I don't really give a damn about pairings in Attack on Titan, I'm just playings devil's advocate.

What Isayama said about Eren regarding Historia, there's nothing that implies for Eren x Historia ship. Can you post the link of Isayama's thoughts on Eren's viewpoint on Mikasa please ?

I think it's more like eren and historia can understand each other because the same circumstance they face.

I think it doesn't change my opinion that historia and Ymir is pretty much canon especially when Ymir want to marry her. I think at this point their feeling is mutual, thus making them pretty much canon. I think tumblrfan will angry if they doesn't happen lol.
I think mikasa has love arrow(romantic interest) to eren thus make erenxmikasa has the biggest chance to become canon since they have no rival.

I have googled and read what Isayama said about Eren and Mikasa's relationship. Either it's what he meant it straight forward, or he meant it as how Eren feels when Mikasa is around.

I consider Yumikuri canon but I never talked about HistoriaxEren so idk what you're talking about.

 

Maybe Historia can be with Eren if she goes up and licks Eren's face like Ymir did with her.

 

Here's the article which says they're canon. German ofc. I don't know if it's the anime director or Isayama that said this, but even if it's the director he must have heard it from somewhere right.. He says bluntly "Ymir and Christa are in fact a couple", so it doesn't leave much interpretation. But are anime director even at panels?? idk

 

All I think is Ymir and Christa are a lot more explicit than Eren and Mikasa. I don't have problems with Eremika I just don't see the deal..

It's obvious that Ymir and Historia are a thing. When Ymir shows her love to Historia and Historia blushes with what she says to Ymir, we can see that they are either on the way to be couple or are already couple.

I have some news about Eren and Mikasa and these news are bad news for the pairing. I know. It sucks.

 

Isayama said in an interview about Mikasa what Mikasa is for Eren : 

" For Eren, rather than a lover, Mikasa’s presence is more like a mother to him. The love towards a mother is considered valuable [precious], however at the same time, there are annoying parts as well [laugh]. Just like towards one’s actual mother, Eren will start to grow up when he becomes independent [move away/not dependent on] from Mikasa, I might draw this scene one day. "

Also, another thing is that Eren nor Mikasa won't be with anyone romantically. Eren, Mikasa and Armin will have a separation. What he means by separation is growth for Mikasa, the second link explains it, as well as for Eren from what he's saying in the first link concerning Eren. Eren and Mikasa will have to be independent from one another.

Obviously Eren isn't there yet, which is why he has an inferiority complex to Mikasa. Mikasa isn't his mother, or sister. Eren said that himself. He views her as his best friend, not an adoptive sister. He probably loves her as much as he loves Armin as of right now. Eren always being saved by Mikasa was always a problem for him, but that quote was from 2014. We already got a giant sign of Eren growing independent of her after that quote.
