almost everyone shined during the war... Kishi said that everyone will shine in this battle against Obito.

Sakura shined against fake Neji
Shikamaru, Ino and Chouji shined against Edo Asuma and Kakuzu.

Anyway that doesn't means they can't take their final developments anymore

Hey, remember that chapter a while ago where they announced that different divisions were going to attack Obito and Madara? And we got hyped that Sakura was going to get some action?

Then the next chapter came and it turns out we were just speculating and being way too optimistic?

Yeah. That's why I'm hesitant to believe that Sakura's doing anything in the background right now. We can hype ourselves up all we want, but realistically, from past experience and disappointments, chances are she's just there and Kishi didn't bother drawing her. I guess I'm trying to make it easier for people when it inevitably happens. Just don't get too disappointed.

Call this negativity if you want, but I'm calling it having realistic expectations of Kishi.

You're right, she is the main heroine and that can't be changed. She will get her screentime sooner or later. But there's no good reason why she isn't getting any right now. Even if it was some off-panel amazing strategy and she's being Kamui'd, it's still not justifiable. The amount of main character screentime he's sacrificing (completely) for support characters is absolutely ridiculous, whether it's temporary or not; there is absolutely no reason why Sakura shouldn't have been drawn with the others, especially at such a crucial time. I wouldn't be complaining if he at least drew her, but...nope. Not even that.

Another reason I think this will happen to Sakura is because the same thing happened to Neji. He wasn't drawn at all, then suddenly he showed up like nothing happened. Like he was always there. Now, yes, Neji was a support character, but it still came across as forced, lazy, and dumb.


Thing is, Lee's been drawn consistently into each chapter. Sakura hasn't. Going by that pattern, whether it's her "turn" or not, she should at least be illustrated with them. And if she's doing some secret thing, she should be shown leaving or something as simple as that. It's neglecting her, whether she's there or not.

And why would Kishi not bother drawing Neji when he previously paid attention to where everyone was on that battlefield? Then finally draw him only when he wanted him there to die? Bad writing. Sure, he got his "moment", but it doesn't matter. He popped up like he was there the whole time with everyone fighting, yet he wasn't visibly shown/drawn. It's laziness, and it's likely spread to Sakura now. If Kishi's pattern is to have a character mysteriously not be drawn before their "moment" happens, then I'm sorry, that's just plain lazy and, dare-I-say, stupid.

Still it's disappointing. Why? He drew all the main cast, even if they didn't had so much attention, all of them. But we had Naruto, Kakashi and Sasuke. No Sakura...

Some people have way too much faith in Kishi, something that I've lost years ago.

If she's not there then there isn't any reason to draw her. Its just that simple.

Why waste panel time drawing her being warped, or leaving the scene when its unnecessary? If she's in Kamui when it's shown we'll KNOW how she got there.

If she shows up to the Kage's with Sai, we'll KNOW how she got there.

Maybe it's him being lazy, or maybe it's him drilling the suspense. I mean everyone reading has noticed she's not there and the fact that he does it so obviously needs to be raising some eyebrows and have everyone speculating on where she is. Combine that with her color spread segment...Something is going down, what it is remains to be seen.

Again, If I'm wrong and she was there the whole time and kishi really is flaking...I'll commit myself to reading at-least 3 Naruhina fics.

Exactly. Like always, we know that Kishi make some character/s miss a shot when attacking or have a plan all along, and after that what does Kishi do ? We see something unexpected happening like the opponent being seriously injured or beaten down by a specific character, then some character goes to explain what did happen and how it was planned all along.

I think Kishi will make this with Sakura, the unexpected blow to Obito and Madara or she may have gone to the kages. But, I'm pretty sure that she's still with Naruto and the others. She was with Kakashi but he didn't say anything when we didn't see her. Kakashi knows where Sakura is. The readers are the ones that will know later where she was all the time. Plus, if she was kidnapped, Kakashi and Naruto, at least, would have noticed.

The thing about that is...her speech in 573 made it seem like she WASN'T going to do just that, even if she's a medic ninja . It would just be kind of disheartening if that's all she does ;-;.

I believe this was Kishi's way of telling the readers that any thought of Sakura doing something epic in battle needs to be flushed down the toilet.

Well I don't think the 3rd rule is suspicious. I see it as Sakura healing in battle, while everyone else fights and lose, and she's the only survivor since all she was doing was just healing. That's my take on it if the 3rd rule was any kind of foreshadowing.

Yeah, I know...that's why I have the wish. If it weren't be a thing known only by Tsunade, I wouldn't have wished it since I'd suspect Sakura knows it.

He didnt forget about her, those panels were she appeared were totally unecessary but still he showed her, he's not stupid, he even admitted that he wanted to redo "Sakura's confession to Naruto".
He knows he did a lot of bad stuff with Sakura and i dont think he give up was have a lot of chapters and this fight is only in the begining.

Madara can simply use the wooden dragon jutsu and rape everyone.
