Best friday 13th ever

 

In this season I want

- A steady Makorra ship, no more unnecessary drama

- Happy Asami and Bolin

- Lin's father reveal

- More Tahno

- Kataang kids moments :3

- Last but not least, Katara to fight the dark spirits !!

Sushi I'm excited, it's only 30 mins till its on where I am.

I just want to see what they do next. I don't ship anything in korra cause they make it obvious, and well don't be suprised if they throw in relationship tension but I like mako cause he is a badass, zuko 2.0 in my opinion but without the evil side. I'm looking forward to the origins episodes, has Steven yun from the walking dead voicing wan the first avatar. That episode looks great for the animation. Also that owl spirit from book 2 earth in the original series comes back. I am suprised studio perriot did the animation though this is going to be an excellent season.

I second this. Especially the first one, NO MORE DRAMA PLEASE!

 

I'm hoping for Aang and some of the other original cast to appear too, I still miss them

I heard they're making him likeable for haters, so that's good. I don't hate him, I just feel that the romance was done poorly. It only left me in a bland expression for him as in "eh ok." But now, well time to create a character.

1;
- Mako is sweet with Korra
- Korra is a kitten to Mako and her father, not Unulaq level though
- I thought Asami was gonna kiss Bolin

- Unulaq looks 10 years older than his big brother
- Love the twins!
- Unalaq is evil, either way he is an ASS
- Hate Unulaq
- Poor Tenzin
- Korra is not such a kitten after all

2;
- It's alright to watch Korra's temper on a screen, but I know it would be different irl lol XD

- Korra's daddy is overprotective, but she should still be a littler nicer to him

- Can't believe she sent her father away. He's her father oqirejoierjoiwerjl......She's just a teen, and not disciplined at all.

- Korra apologized to Mako at least <3

- lol the twins!!

I couldn't figure out how to use the spoiler tag, so just be warned there are spoilers below. I tried to figure out how to use them but I just ended up deleting my post . Please help!  Edit: And oh my gosh it's still after I retyped everything, ugh. I'll fix it.

I really enjoyed it, but I'm still not feeling Mako/Korra for whatever reason, maybe cause it fells like such a halfhearted appeasement of Zuko/Katara fans, and it never got the development Katara and Aang got, just jumped right into the romantic drama and angst in the first season.

Speaking of Katara, she looked so sad watching Tenzin and his siblings, it must be hard being the only one of the old goup left. Aang is gone, Sokka is gone and so is Toph.   The comment she made to Tenzin about appreciating the time he has with his siblings was very bittersweet.

 

I love the twins, especially the girl, what's-her-name, I couldn't stop laughing at her interactions with Bolin.

 

Korra was kind of acting like a brat most of the time, I understand her being upset about finding out it was her father and Tenzin who kept her isolated from the world, but sheesh, it was annoying. I'm excited to see Jinora play a bigger part this season, I really like her.

 

I don't know if it's just me, but the animation does not seem to have the same quality as before, not that it's bad, I just couldn't help noticing.

Just going to drop this little tidbit here: Part of Korra's staff are outsourced to Pierrot, the very same studio for Shippuden. Now, whether or not this is a reason for Pierrot's inconsistent quality for Shippuden, it remains to be debated.

Well they did put up great animation recently. Not the latest episode but so far, it's going well. But time will tell if their consistency shows. I hope it fits in well with other animation because I always had an odd feel in Avatar with noticeable animation changes. I don't hate it, but it's weird seeing bubble eyes Avatar episodes. It's noticeable. Heck, that animation always bring anime style (such as funny shocking face).

I loved Bolin to provide the humor, the stuff with Asami was classic, no idea what happened.

 

Tenzin is also great, he suffers under the antics of Korra and his kids, the race part was great. This is going to be a good season.

About the relationship, while I do have to read the comic still, what happens in the relationship? I wish I have time to read. I'll make time soon.
