No it was Kishi, Are you seriously trying to say Kishi wrote the story or atleast the main plot, then drew and redesigned ever other charactor in the movie but decided to leave the design of Hinata who no matter who she ends up with has a relevent role in the movie to Studio Pierrot? Ofcourse he designed her, infact you just have to look at that rough sketch the NH fans claimed was a pregnant Hinata, it's obvious now that it is Hinata holding the scarf she wanted to give Naruto, weating the casual clothes we see in the trailer.

 

How do you think that meeting went, 'Yes the story has a focus on Hinata, I've created some history to tie things up, i've outlined her role in the movie, she plays a big part but I can't be arsed designing her costume, I'll let you do that, I'm too busy designing the look of everyone else in the movie'?

 

No I thought it could be possible that SP drew a supplementary outfit for Hinata.

Oh well. Let's just see HOW much is her role, cause I honestly don't belive its as big as you say.

 

The fact she has a role in the movie that is more than one of a stalker or comic relief, means it's a big role for her, This is the first time she's on a mission with Team Seven without her teammates included, the Main antagonist is after her eyes, her sister gets kidnapped, she has a made up history which apparently leads to her to have regrets even a decade later, an she faces off to the Antagonist at atleast one point in the movie.

 

No matter how you look at it, her role in the movie is big, she might not be in that many scenes, but her importance to the movie plotline is undeniable, without her (and/or Hanabi) the plot kinda falls short.

I hate to say this but Taiora was 100% the dub. The japanese version actually alluded to Sorato dating long before we got the confirmation. I was a big Taora fan so I was crushed when I found out it was all the dub.

 

The one couple that got context in both the dub/original is Takari and it's the couple everyone hopes they fix the issues in 02 in the new anime centered around the original 8. So here's hoping they correct 02 and get Takari together.

 

Since digimon was brought up a few pages ago yeah i did want to confirm the unfortunate news.  actually sorato never dated together until season 2 but they infact had a subtle moment in 01 that foreshadowing them dating in 02. If you guys want to know the true story of what caused such an confusion with the pair then go read the post i put in the "digimon is coming back thread".

Also geninja yeah taiora did crush my heart when i was young and it still does now. I guess you don't ship it anymore?

 

so i guess takari was the other pair that was meant to happen too. Poor davis and tai both boys got mistreated in order to make the cool guy look better and "get the girl".
