The only thing that i did not understand on RTN is
Why menma is a jinchuuriki?
Why menma is a jinchuuriki?

Yes, you can predict that this movie proves Kishi's intentions of making NS canon in the end, but in no way did this movie make manga Naruto and manga Sakura closer or make their relationship more romantic.

Tell me, does manga Sakura understand how it feels to not have parents? Does Naruto now know what it feels like to have parents? Was Sakura actually tied up like Kushina at some point in the manga? Did Naruto put on his fathers cloak and save Sakura like Minato saved Kushina? Did ANY OF THAT actually happen in canon? No matter how much we would like it to, it didn't happen in canon. It happened outside of canon. Kishi made it happen outside of canon, so we can say that Kishi's intentions lean towards NS in the END. We can't say that this movie is absolute proof that it WILL happen and that right now (while Naruto and Sakura are in the middle of fighting Obito) that they're relationship has been upgraded to a new level while they weren't paying attention.

Even without the movie, I personally have no doubts NS is going to be canon (as I said a bajillion times) but you must realize that non-canon events do not truly relate or tie to canon events. It's excellent material and makes most of us squee, but it's not canon sadly. Not yet.


Inserting my awesome fanfiction general plot, I assume maybe Kushina was never the jinchuuriki, but at some point, Obito did attack Konoha the day Naruto was born and for whatever reason, the 3rd Hokage sealed it into Naruto that night.

Kushina come to the village just because she had to be the jinchuuriki....
She was kind of useless on the movie.

I dind´t say it made them closer in the manga, i said it reinforces the idea of NS becoming canon, since Kishi was the one who made the above mentioned scenes, what even more reinforces the idea of sakura being similar to kushina like its already shown in the manga.

Kishi made kushinas words, kishi reinforces the similarity of sakura and kushina in the movie. That all shows that NS is kishis intention. Since this shows that NS is kishis intention, it reinforces the idea of NS becoming canon in the manga.

I've been wondering that, too. Kushina should still be the Nine-tails jinchuriki. Maybe it's different because Tobi can manipulate what happens in the genjutsu.

Strange, the movie was in good length. 1 hr 45 min. I don't see anything wrong. True, I want it longer but it's good. Shortest movie is the first one.

Yeah it was a bit short. It's obvious that Kishi might have wanted to fit more in there, especially with the parents (maybe I should calm down with my family excitement). Sad that movies aren't longer in general.

Well yeah, I see what you mean now. Still, for anime movie, it's a good length. I can watch for 2 hrs but oh well. I do wonder if people do like or dislike due to what the movie has. For example, I will hate this movie because of NS. Note: I'm not serious...

Hm... while overall I loved the movie of course, I really do wish the quality would have been better. If Kishi had them change things at the last minute, then maybe they should have moved the film back a little bit. It's ridiculous to have fillers at a higher quality than the movies. If this entire movie was movie quality... *drool*

Let's see... well, I won't say much about the plot line. It is an AU, there could be a number of reasons why things were different in the AU. Why was Kushina there? Well, maybe in this universe the Eddy village and Konoha were still close and it wasn't strange for Uzumaki's to migrate to Konoha just because. Maybe the Uchiha's were never killed which is why Sasuke and Itachi were around and not on the bad side of things. Maybe the 3rd Hokage is dead because he sealed Kurama into Menma rather than Minato or Sakura's father.

Shikamaru is dumb because he was dropped on his head a child. Chouji is skinny because he's a health freak. Ino is shy because she was made fun of as a child. Hinata is .... uh...? Sasuke is Sasuke. I think the amount of screen time the K12 got was just fine. The movie wasn't about them. I'm pretty sure they were all just a plot device to make Naruto and Sakura realize that that place isn't their home (and maybe that their real friends are better than the fake ones)

Let's see... I would have liked to see more Kushina action. We hardly know anything about her abilities, seems Kishi kept that secret even in the movies (or he just doesn't care)

Lastly, it would have been nice to have more of a follow up between Naruto and Sakura when they returned home. Not a romantic one per say, but more like a real acknowledgement that Sakura understood Naruto's loneliness. I'm sure Naruto realized how she felt when she ran up and hugged her family so lovingly, but it would have been nice for her to say it herself. Pfft. It also would have been interesting for Sakura to invite Naruto along since she knew Naruto would be alone again, but thankfully Iruka made up for that. (Daw, makes me miss Jiraiya. Q_Q)

It's funny how their developments are always kept to themselves yet still approving their relationship together. I do believe Naruto got the idea of her. It's strange but it's like they literally bury their problem and continue to move up. Funny how Naruto went to ask for a date as if the whole past was like "Wait, we fought?" I guess that's how they work.

Anyway, if I can ask for more, it will be the family aspect bonding for Naruto. It's saddening that he can only enjoy in a very short time and yeah, would like to tackle more aspects of the family life. Nevertheless, what we got was good enough for me to enjoy it and honestly, NS stuff is the icing on the cake, so without it, I thought the movie still holds well. It is odd that the animation of the latest filler special was high while this one well I would say first 2 act is normal budget while last act up the level. It's a shame, but I guess it's like a video game. You can have a weak graphic but the gameplay is just too good to pass up.

As a NS fan i would give an 10/10 but as a normal fan neutral i would give 6~8/10.
But does not change the fact it was the best Naruto's movie above the 3rd one, the rest i give 1/10 only because i wasted my time downloading them.

The movie should had portraited AU!Sakura, should had explained why menma was a jinchuuriki, how Naruto's mom wasnt a jinchuuriki, they should had portraited at least the background of the "AU world".

But does not change the fact it was the best Naruto's movie above the 3rd one, the rest i give 1/10 only because i wasted my time downloading them.

Yeah, that will be the flaw of it is the explanation on certain parts. Other than that and animation, it does seem to be the best.

This is something I can agree with since Memma was the villain I think we should of known what influence him to become like that, how was his relationship with his parents, the Rookies, AU Sasuke, AU Sakura the Villagers etc.

I think Kishi was heavily focused on the main cast while the villain aspect didn't enough detail on why Menma was like that. So yeah, that seems to be the case.

Like I said way earlier, I think it would have been cool if Sakura were also twisted in this AU since she was also thrown into it.

Depending on what Menma was all about (if he were ranting about parents or something), it would have been interesting for Sakura to fight her own 'parent' battle against her other self rather than fighting Naruto's other self. They would both have to defeat their inner demons (not literally XD) That would have been a good lesson for sure. But I guess then Tobi would have 2 'remotes' in this AU world he made or whatever.
