The thing to remind everything is that 699 - 700 is not the definitive ending. Things that are cannon or cannonesque will be afterwards. What exactly well its one big question mark.

One other thing that might support the Genjutsu theory is just how similar to RtN things have progressed. Kishi set up the film so that Naruto would get some time with his parents (in canon, he got his father) and Sakura would be able to get to know him better, which included learning of his parentage (Well, yeah, that stuff happened, too...). Ultimately there was the fight and they broke out of the genjutsu together on Naruto's birthday. Nobody else knew what had happened, though. Is it possible that some things might play out that way?

Not only that but her expression and everything else look off in that panel considering how Kishi draws.

I just realized they look younger here. Sakura's hair doesn't sit like that in part 2... that's how she looks in part 1 and I don't think that's the seal on her forehead. Looks more like a shadow. meh I could be wrong.

Wouldn't it be funny if he has two versions of the ending? Kishi's team purposely released those 14 pages in question to gauge the reaction of the public and based on the reactions.. he'll choose to release the one that would create the least backlash

The genjutsu thing is very possible. For one Evil posted a moon among the spoilers. Now that moon might mean breaking of IT or a new IT. Besides RTN proved that kishi likes to explore some alternative development. Like shy Ino or Charasuke. So even if they are real as in drawn by Kishi by reading the entire chapter we may get the full picture.

you know that what I was looking for just now in NF haven't found it as yet but the moon Could mean IT and it will be the moon Naruto sees when he wakes up.
