I thought this was the NARUSAKU debate thread? last time we tried giving opinions on Sasuke living or dying things went ugly so let's let it be. Anyways NS just need something solid to confirm the relationship. something that a logical person can't deny. Things need to be solve but (unfortunately)it's not happening in the near future and I'm ripping my hair out right because of it.

To me, this thread has long operated as a general Naruto debate thread and as long as people aren't spamming or straying to far from Naruto issues, I think it's fine.

And I'm not going to avoid discussing an issue (originally mentioned in Flicky's post) because other of peoples past failure to control their behavior. The onus is them to discuss the issue rationally, not for me to shup up because they cannot do so.

Naruto reason for not confessing to Sakura:
one is the Primese but for me the biggist reason
Sakura is probably the closest friend that Naruto had, his most precious person, and he don't want to risk jeopardising that bond by doing anything thoughtless and rushed.

Naruto't rejection of her confession. He was harsh, but he cannot accept her immense sacrifice. It would not has been fair to Sakura if he accepted her at that point. He don't want to interfere with the feelings Sakura might still have for Sasuke, despite she saying the opposite; not when they has been so close, after all those long, hard working years to get Sasuke back. He don't want to be responsible for any regrets she might have have plus Sakura failing to resolve her feelings and discover that she still loved Sasuke, despite everything.


What you guys think of this.

I agree with that, and I think it's also got to do with the fact that before Sai told him Sakura's reason for confessing, Naruto was still holding onto the image of the old Team 7, still believing that Sakura was in love with Sasuke. After that, he's learned to stop grasping tightly on that image, including that even Sakura has matured and partly moved on from Sasuke. I'm using the word "partly" because I still believe she has left-over feelings for Sasuke, ones that she still needs to resolve. I believe she's much closer to Naruto though.

You need to be a bit clearer what you mean when you say "pardon" then. I take it to mean that they will do something similar to what Naruto did: decline to kill him for his behavior. I'm a bit curious as to what Naruto would have done with a very much alive Nagato? Would Naruto have punished him at all? I loathe that mass-resurrection/death cop-out.

Nagato only "redeemed" himself AFTER Naruto refused to kill him. Nagato wasn't spared because of the redeemptive act. That came second. Nagato deserved him punishment was much as Sasuke would. I really don't see the difference between the two, except that the alliance isn't Naruto, though they sure are starting to sound like him when it comes to the cycle of hate stuff.

To a point I agree with you. Naruto doesn't hate Sasuke....everyone else hates Sasuke do to everything he's done over the course of a year. But even if Sasuke returns there's not really any possible way the Kage's will accept him back.

naruto its trying to break the chain of hatred and sasuke IS the hatred. its something naruto should overcome.

and your right gaara and nagato are different from sasuke.

But the reality here is that Sasuke is wrong the story could focus and many other things not only Sasuke's hatred that is one of the reason why many fans drop this Manga it focus too much and him.

When Sasuke break the first rule they learn about the people that break the rules been scum, but one that abandon his friends is worst than scum he fail big time. that's why Kakashi turn down Rin love, becauhe he was about to abandon her. Plus Sasuke try to Kill Naruto, Sai, Yamato and Sakura again try to kill Karin and Sakura without any hesitation after that he is dead in my mind. His friends believe in him and they save his life many times he only betray them over and over he will betray Madara or Tobi was is not bad but he will betray again after reciven his help.

Say what you want about Sasuke bla bla bla, but he is wrong in whatever way you look at it.

He's going to save his friend and he's going to win the heart of the girl he loves. And Sasuke dying wouldn't make either of them feel like they succeeded in saving him.

You right I think that way too. But what make me change my mind sometimes is when people try to use many st*pid reason why he most not die. Sasuke is dead wrong and the only reason why he should not die is because all Naruto hard working will be for nothing anything els is just silly.

Because Sasuke should not be a Villain, he should be a rival and Naruto's best friend
Villain are Villain there is good and there is bad if you can change the bad person great, but this Manga spend so much time changing a good person again, he refuse many times if you cannot change him give up and move on.

But you right in that I really hate Sasuke and it's mostly because the of ones that like him they think he is right and everyone in Konoha most Die they think he is a god, then there is the SS with these poor reasons for the pairing to happen and bashing the Naruto and the NaruSaku fans plus many things Sasuke has done to his team mates, I think I have good reasons but this is not the right place for that argument.

Sure, Naruto could save him, but dying would bring eternal peace within himself. If he found peace within his death, a redemption brought by death, not only saving the cycle of hatred, but saving Sasuke himself from the hatred in his heart. He'd be free of any burdens, hatred, everything. like naruto said: "if we die i wont be the nine tails, and you wont be an uchiha"
