What does that refer to on the cover , Road to Naruto the movie ? Is that about The Last ?

InoShika is vastly superior but less likely.

 

Most of Kishi's canon ship are thoroughly lacking anyway. Except NS but even it's far from being ideal.

I understand your point in this and I agree with the bolded. Nevertheless, I believe (it's my opinion just saying) this is mainly because people who ship pairings are the majority that are often online and in forums, others normally just don't give a single kitten about forums (I believe in here are the majority of fans) or comment on sites more general-oriented like mangafox or myanimelist or stuff... But I agree when you say that a lot of people only care for the ship.

I hope so! they say she's equal to Sakura, so I wanna know what she could now do...everyone is complaining that it's an asspull...but wasn't asuma's final words to her sorta a foreshadow? where he says not to lose to Sakura in ninjutsu or in love? xD He also stated earlier in part 1, that Ino was an exceptional shinobi, and we know that during the academy days...Sakura lost to Ino..Ino was first in the class along with Sasuke and Shino I believe, and also, in the chunin exams, if it weren't for that inner Sakura crap, she would've won

 

Yeah they did :) but ShikaTema will still  be a couple I'd accept if it happened...I wouldn't accept NH...maybe only if Sakura never moves on, then I'd be happy to see Naruto end up with someone that loved him for so long I guess..

ino's offensive capabilities are best suited for a support role, as it has been shown in the manga. sakura has an arsenal of offensive feats compared to ino, that it's hard for me to even imagine that ino "kept up" with sakura. i love ino, but there's no way she's keeping up with sakura based on what the manga has shown me.

I will never hate her but if she choses sasuke i would be extremely disappointed in her. And it would most likely hurt naruto in the process. So while ill still like her i would have lost some respect for her :(

I don't see any reason why a person would continue to like Sakura as a character if she were to keep pursuing Sasuke. I think Kishimoto has consistently portrayed that as a fault in her character and even if she doesn't end up with Naruto there's no excuse for her continuing to pursue Sasuke.

I was being sarcastic. There's no difference between feeling positive emotions and negative emotions towards fictional stuff.

 

So the "it's fiction" argument to justify not hating is stupid.

 

It's one thing to like a character when they're supposed to be like, and to hate them when they're supposed to be hated. That means the author is doing a good job a portraying the characters.

 

It's another issue to dislike a character when they're supposed to be liked. That means the author is doing a poor job at showcasing a character.

 

There's no point to hate a character like Sakura given that she's supposed to be well liked. The disappointment should go towards Kishi himself for failing to portray Sakura in the likable way that was meant.

Yeah when i first started shipping ns i wasnt super serious its just what i would prefer to happen. But after i came online reading opponent fandoms ect., I really got serious about it.

Basically this is what I theorize that made me get so invested in this pairing (I honesly don't remember ). Really, it's the only possible conclusion I reach: those arrogant NH/SS fans (not all btw) that think they know it all

If Sakura chooses Sasuke over Naruto, then yeah, you can't fault people for disliking her.

 

I don't know why that's even being discussed though. NaruSaku is going to be canon by the end of the week.
