I actually like this marketing, but not for the obvious reason.

 

I find it funny how, even with NH/SS canon, both shippers thought that it would crush NS out of existence. But, surprise surprise, our fandom is not only on good terms with other shipping fandoms, but we're picking up the pieces of NS and moving forward, with them.

 

Not only that, but I'm sure the canon pairings expected there to be no more NS, SNS, or SK, since they lost. But here SP is, trying to do damage control by giving NS breadcrumbs and Kishi adding in SNS panels. Everyone already knows, that nearly all the canon pairings were kitten, so I would not be surprised to find out that those shippers are mad at the fact that the pairings that didn't happen are getting some spotlight.( especially SS, since they didn't even get any real scenes in the movie, or multiple posters, like NH.)

 

I hope Kishi/SP continue to try and appease the fans they lost, because the damage control is almost as entertaining as Kishi's interviews that revealed NH to be a pity ship, he had no investment in and SS to be nothing but a sexist side pairing.

I wish NaruSaku fans would stop accepting the bones sp throws at us,it makes this family look weak. Also you can't claim to hate the ending if you buy stuff from it.

Noo stop! This is so heartbreaking! We had everything. kittening everything! Yet we're force fed asspull pairings in the end. Nothing can destroy stuff like this. Nothing! It's even sadder when you realize Obito got the girl in the end.  

 

Tell me about it when I think of ObiRin I always think of NaruSaku. It still makes me sad to this day to even think about it. You know I made this joke to 4life once that this series should've been called Obito.

Hmmm the only ones I can think of at the top of my head is O-Parts Hunter and Rave Master, and SAO (light novels and season 2 for the anime).

This...its too much My poor Naruto It pains me to see that the guy I looked up to...has become someone like this. J man....Minato...Kushina....Hashirama....Tsunade...Zabuza...Itachi....Nagato...Konan....Sandaime...I feel sorry for each and everyone of these More for first three. J man I cry to this day when I see J man's death and the episode titled 'Thank you' This series.....it still pains...

Good question, I just only saw how they look, and thought it looked cool. Ditto for Rin and Kakashi, as for Obito I'd probably say like a college professor.
